Don’t buy — defective, useless product
Broken when new! Unreal. I got this umbrella because it fits in my purse and was a nice color. Carried it for months, but never had to use it — until yesterday. Big surprise: the button to open does not work at all, and if you manually raise it, there’s no latch to keep it open, it’s missing where it should be! It did not look previously used and it has been in its protective case the entire time. So I can only deduce that this company makes defective and useless products! Don’t buy!

Nicest and most compact unit. Not sure if it holds up to Chicago windage, but in Seattle, where you can tell who the tourists are by whoever has an umbrella... very compact and stowable once I am indoors. A strategic zip-loc bag in coat pockets comes in very handy.

A little tough to open, but I love the tiny size
And I like the cute colors and patterns these come in. Perfect to throw in your purse or bag when going to an outdoor event where it may rain.

Flimsy
Reading the reviews I’m so disappointed. This thing is so flimsy the base was loose(I handle to turn it to tighten it right out of the package) the actual handle was clicking and shaking and not sturdy. It also doesn’t lock in place, I went to hang it by the string next to our door and the hold handle came out. I wanted something small for my son’s backpack for the rainy spring weather we get but this isn’t going to work at all. For the cost I expected better.

“Mini travel compact” it’s none of those things. It’s bulky and has no button as claimed. It’s also very stiff to open. The photos are extremely misleading. No way would the umbrella fit into that bag and you could easily think that it’s not much bigger than a mobile phone. And the hand balancing it! I’m so cross with myself for being fooled. Don’t waste your money. It’s a big con.
