Caydo Electric iCord Knitting Machine F1, Auto Turns Yarn into Neat i-Cords

My daughter requested an icord machine for Christmas, so I went with this one. She really likes it and has been making lots of cords. She has a crochet business and this going to enhance the products she makes and let her easily make more products. Makes a great cord, fast and easy to use. Not sure how durable it is, but it is very functional and light weight. Good price for an automatic machine,

Great value for price. I love it. Easy to operate and creates beautiful cords. I put mine way up high to avoid the cord twisting if I’m making long cords. Got this to make names for my granddaughters toy boxes.

Every now and then there is a glitch. A small mistake where it skips a stitch or two. But overall it accomplished what I needed.

A cool invention that saves my hands fro. Hours of cord making. Took 5 min to make 3ft of cord.

This was actually fun to play with, even if i did have to plug it into my phone charger to use it.

Coukd not get this to work. I used 5 different kinds of yarn and just kept getting tangled and stuck

When I saw this item, it seemed like the perfect gift for my very crafty granddaughter. She loves all things craft related and was thrilled when she opened the package. It was a big hit with her and we, together made several knitted cords of various lengths.If you follow the instructions very carefully, you can be up and knitting in short time. I would strongly suggest you look for youtube videos on how to get this up and running correctly. It runs on a typical phone charger/USB-C connection. A USB-C cable is included, but the "wall wart" portion is not. Even though I have plenty, they seem kind of scarce at my granddaughter's house.There are several things you should consider before purchasing this machine. (1) It cannot be run as designed by a young kid. My granddaughter is 6 and very savvy, but she repeatedly had trouble, especially with ending a cord and tying it off. In fact, I as a grown adult with debatable savvy, had to concentrate and work at it to get the typing off part done correctly. In other words, this is not something you give to a kid and they can do it by themselves. If you realize it's a "do together" kind of project thing, you'll be okay. Having said that, it was at times frustrating for my granddaughter because she wanted to do it all herself.(2) The second thing to consider is that even though this does a great job of knitting cords, you are left with a whole bunch of cord and then what? That is, once you get a strand of cord you are left wondering what to do with it. My creative granddaughter found a few things like using one for a bracelet and another for a necklace (see pic), but the challenge becomes making all the cool things shown (purse, flowers, etc.) requires more crafting and likely more supplies. I ended up ordering more yarn and some wire to insert into the cord so we could make flowers with stems and other related items. Without the wire, there would be just a wilted ball of yarn rather than something that holds its shape.I've included a couple of pictures and a video. One is of what happens if you don't monitor how things are set up (i.e., when I let my granddaughter try it without me doing quality control). The video shows how actually cool it is to see the machine running and doing the knitting.This is a great little machine with some decent potential, but is not for the kids to run off and do on their own.

Great little icord machineVery fiddly to try get the hang of as the needle grips are very small and the instructions are not very clear, however that could just be me as im not experienced in knitting.I had to ask AI to assist unfortunately, however once I got the hang of it it was very easy and the cord came out perfectly.One downside is that it instructs you to pull the cord out the bottom with the knitting needle however if you have this secured to a table the needle will not go through meaning that you have to undo it and then secure it againOverall happy with the results now I know how to work but again that may be user error as im a beginner ☺️
