Big hardware store wanted almost $1/screw
8 1-1/2 Thread distance shown in picture. These are a good value for the money considering how much the home improvement store wanted for them, only sold them in bags of 2 and did not have enough for what I needed. The color looks good, it was hard to find something not silver or black and these aren't. I haven't used them yet but they're the right size color and material I needed.

As described
These INDPROD brass-plated screws appear to be a solid product. The description mentions that the screws are "accurate, neat, and sharp." Not sure what accuracy and neatness mean in a self-tapping screw but sharpness is indeed useful. That can translate into easier driving and less splitting of material. Whether these are actually sharper than other screws is beyond my ability to judge well but the threads do feel quite sharp. The brass coating is nice for corrosion resistance. My only quibble has to do with packaging. Most screws I buy come in some sort of container that, once opened, can still be used for storage. This blister pack will not serve well in that way.

Undersized for a door strike plate replacement, concerns about appearance and fit.
I was looking for new screws to attach shiny new interior door strike plates, but found these to be a little undersized compared to the #8 screw I had on hand that fit perfectly. For instance, the screw head diameter was .30" which fit flush with the surface of the strike plate, but these screws had a head diameter of only 0.273" and you can see from the photo how one of these (on the right) sits too far down in the plate. The thread size on my sample screw was 0.164.5 (a #8 is nominally a 0.164") and these had a thread diameter of only 0.158" so I had concerns about them being tight in a hole already made by a #8. So, for this particular application, I wouldn't recommend these.
