So many options
So many great, educational slides to choose from. Slides are easy to see and the perfect size. Fun gift for something different to look at through the microscope. Worth it.

Doctors liked it
Grandson liked it but the doctors liked it better. Since my grandson was hospitalized when he received his gift to go with his microscope, the doctors would round on him and say that they wanted to see his slides. The resident would tell the staff physician to hey check his slides out.

Great for a kid
Purchased these for my 6 year old son who found a microscope at the thrift store. He was so excited to get these and use them! Lots of slides with bug parts and plant parts. They are glass and are labeled. They are a little difficult to see (some of them) but it could be the cheap microscope.

It's a gift, but....
We bought these for our grandson for Christmas to go with his microscope. So we have not examined them completely (posting this before Christmas). With glass slides there is always a concern of breakage in shipping. No issues with these, as they were very well packed and padded. Not a single crack or break to be seen. Looks to be very good quality slides also!

Clever Slides but Sloppy Specimen Setup
I like how these slides have a photo of the object you are looking at. This is especially important for kids to help them make that connection in their head. The only problem I noticed was that the specimens are setup a bit sloppy. The gel that holds them together between the slide and cover is a bit thick and you will easily notice it under the microscope. Kids often get confused at what they are seeing since the gel is sometimes confused for the specimen. Anyway, it’s a good value, just don’t expect the slides to be perfect.Case in point: photo 1 is an ant and photo 2 is a bee leg. Let’s say that the specimens could have been done better.
