Better Sleeping Habits
I originally bought the Hatch Restore 3 because I wanted a gentler way to wake up, but the biggest difference has actually been how much easier it is to wind down at night. The dimming light and bedtime routine have helped me put my phone away earlier, and waking up to the sunrise alarm feels so much more natural than my old phone alarm. I've been trying to develop a better sleep schedule and habits, and having this alarm clock has definitely helped! It looks great on my nightstand, the sound quality is surprisingly good, and it's become something I use every single day without even thinking about it. It's definitely not the cheapest alarm clock, but if you're trying to build a healthier sleep routine, I'd absolutely recommend it.

Best Upgrade to Become a Morning Person
I have never been a morning person and I did not think an alarm clock could make me one. It has been almost a year since I began using the Hatch Restore 3. This has completely transformed both my bedtime routine and the way I wake up in the morning. My favorite feature is its color changing abilities. I use a red light to turn on for 30-minutes as I wind down for bed at night, and wake up to a cool blue that subtly lights up my room in the morning. Instead of being abruptly awoken by loud noise, the sunrise alarm takes away at least some of the stress that comes with mornings. Also, having that unwind red light time before going to sleep has made me more aware of the time I spend on my phone doomscrolling. With that timer, I prevent scrolling on my phone for far too long and go to bed sooner rather than later getting distracted. The sound quality is also surprisingly good as it comes with many different choices for white noise and sounds to wake up to. The design and set up instructions are very intuitive accompanied by the Hatch App. I never ran into any issues or confusion while setting it up or connecting via Bluetooth regularly. The controls itself on the hatch are very intuitive and user friendly. I keep mine plugged in and don't have to worry about changing batteries or anything. Overall, it is an investment, but I think one that is absolutely worth it if you're looking to incorporate a tool to help your days go by easier and add a bit of calmness in your busy life. I highly recommend this as an investment for your personal health and well-being.

Gimmick to essential..
I’ve wanted a Hatch alarm clock for the past couple of years. I originally assumed it was a gimmick considering I can easily use my phone as an alarm for free, but boy was I wrong. I bit the bullet and finally purchased it so here’s my 100% honest review- Let me tell why I decided to justify buying this first. I live in Florida. It’s incredibly hot, especially in the summer. My partner and I recently put up black out curtains on our bedroom window to keep the sun/heat out. It’s been significantly cooler in our room, however, I NEED sunlight to wake up. The first week of having these new curtains have made me late everyday because my mind and body assumes it’s still night and that I need more rest. My phone alarm clock wasn’t cutting it either. I’m a deep sleeper, so no matter how loud or how obnoxious my alarm was, I couldn’t wake up without mindlessly hitting snooze a hundred times. The best feature about this device is the gradual smart lighting. That is what sold me and the sole reason why I love this thing so much. I am not a morning person. I’m instantly in bad mood if someone else wakes me up including my own alarm I set myself on my phone. Since having this, I’ve been waking up so peacefully and I can honestly say I’ve been in way better moods which says a lot for someone who hates waking up early and loves sleeping. I finally feel like a relatively normal human where I find myself leading a happier and healthier lifestyle. I feel like I can conquer the day because I actually feel motivated to be more productive. And shockingly, I now look forward to waking up every morning. Anytime I acquire a new gadget, I love the set up process and playing with a new app. It was simple and quick and brownie points to the app for being effortlessly easy to navigate. While the quality of the physical device itself is streamlined, it’s very user friendly once you get the hang of it. If your story is similar to mine at all… just get it! It might change your life like it did mine.

Great Product
I've tried a lot of alarm clocks and sleep gadgets over the years, and the Hatch is the first one that's genuinely changed my mornings. Waking up to the gradual sunrise instead of a blaring alarm has made a huge difference—I feel much less groggy and way less tempted to hit snooze. The sound quality is surprisingly good, with plenty of options from white noise to rain and nature sounds. I also love how easy it is to customize routines in the app, so I can wind down at night with calming sounds and dim lighting, then wake up naturally with increasing light and gentle audio. The design is sleek and minimal, so it looks great on a nightstand without feeling like another piece of tech. Setup was quick, and it's been reliable every single day. I honestly didn't expect an alarm clock to have this much of an impact on my sleep and morning routine, but it absolutely has. It's one of those products that you don't realize you needed until you start using it. Worth every penny, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to improve their sleep quality or make mornings a little easier.

Beautiful design, better sleep!
I absolutely love the Hatch Restore 3! I wasn’t sure it would be worth the investment, but after using it for a few weeks, I can honestly say it’s become part of my nightly routine. The sunset feature helps me wind down naturally, and waking up to a gradual sunrise is so much better than being jolted awake by a loud alarm. The sound quality is excellent, and there are so many relaxing sleep sounds and guided wind-down options to choose from. The app is intuitive, making it easy to customize different bedtime and morning routines. It also looks beautiful on my nightstand—minimalistic and modern without taking up much space. If you’re looking to improve your sleep habits or make waking up feel less stressful, I highly recommend the Hatch Restore 3. It’s one of those products I didn’t realize I needed until I had it!

Read this if you’re on the fence (and to understand the bad reviews)
I was so on the fence about purchasing this. I don’t think they advertise enough about the bedtime routines and how great they are via app. There’s a 3 part (optional 4th part) nighttime/daytime routine that you customize with the app and each part has a sound, volume and light option. It starts with a cue to wind down set at a daily time which I love. It plays soft music and a soft warm light to remind me it’s time to get ready for bed. You can do a next part which is it adds a meditation/wind down sound after you push the button but I turn this off. The third part is white noise (also optional) and I have mine set on “bedroom fan” on volume 70. I love that it saves the volume and is the same every night and same with the different parts of the routine. I can have my wind down low volume and white noise high or whatever you want. For the alarm clock it does a sunrise that you can program to start slowly turning on up to an hour before your alarm goes up with sound. The alarm volume also starts out soft and slowly gets louder. To switch to parts of your routine, turn your normal alarm on/off, or adjust volume you can all do it with manual buttons on the clock. The speaker quality is also insanely excellent- another justifier of the price point. The white noise loops perfectly. Many bad reviews are secondary to an app subscription fee. I don’t pay for it but it’s 5 bucks a month. You get tons of functionality without it just fine. My favorite white noise sound, alarm, and wind down are all part of what’s included without the subscription. That being said, this is a $170 premium alarm clock. It is a bit comical that those who decided to make the financial decision of a $170 alarm clock cannot afford a $5 a month subscription. Point being it’s a luxury to have the alarm clock and it’s a luxury to have the subscription. Work within your budget. The alarm on your phone is free. Alarm clocks at Walmart are 5 bucks. If someone wanted the subscription for the extra content I honestly think it would be well worth $5 a month. I almost let reviews complaining about the subscription deter me from purchasing this. It has totally changed my sleep. I sleep better, I wind down better, I wake up better. I love it. The app is great and yes— you will have to use the app for intense customization. It’s the tradeoff you get for not having a screen on the clock. It’s so nice to disconnect. I hardly ever ever open the app. I have my routine set up and it just runs. And if you’re trying to decide between this and a Loftie… HATCH ALL THE WAY! I had a Loftie first and returned it.

Pleasantly surprised
I’ve been using the Hatch Restore 3 for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy it. What I expected to be just a simple alarm clock and sound machine has actually become a really calming and consistent part of my nightly routine. The wind-down features help me disconnect at the end of the day, and the gradual sunrise alarm makes waking up feel much more natural and definitely less jarring than my phone alarm. My only real drawback is the subscription model. Given the device is already a significant upfront investment, it would be nice if more features were included without an additional ongoing cost. That said, even with that consideration, I’ve still found it to be a worthwhile addition to my routine and something I look forward to using daily.

Mandatory app with abysmal loading times
After weighing the pros and significant cons, overall I’m glad I purchased the Hatch (but just barely) as the sunrise alarm function has genuinely improved how awake I feel in the mornings, but the app you have to use to get full functionality of the device is very frustrating even for a digital native because of the loading times. I’m only glad I bought it because it was on sale, and with a gift card I got it for $90. It’s not worth the full price and definitely not the additional subscription. There are other sunrise alarm clocks out there that might work better for you. Completely aside from the fact that the app costs a whopping $5 per month subscription or $50 a year for basic functions of an alarm clock, those basic functions are frequently buggy and unimaginably slow to respond. The loading times make the app almost unusable, with loading times as long as almost 1 full minute to simply select something, and going up from there depending on the complexity of actions or how many actions you’ve taken in a row. For example, if you want to edit your routine, you can expect to wait 1-2 minutes to simply swap to the unwind routine you want to edit, and then wait another almost 2 full minutes of load time to save your edit once you’ve made it. The next routine you edit, the loading time will increase, almost as if the app gets “bogged down” by a log of actions you did previously. If you’re editing multiple routines at once, you’d better have something handy to do while you wait in between steps, because it could take you 15 minutes or more of wait time just to select a sound, change volume, select a lighting preference, all just for one step in one routine. Combine that with load times for adding another step, naming your routine, etc. and I was on my phone for 45 minutes tonight. Ironically, this makes the app a huge time-waster before bed if you want to do something simple like change the preset volume, and I find myself stuck on my phone which is what I was trying to avoid by buying this product. For context, I have an iPhone 13 Pro with plenty of space, and I don’t have this loading problem with any other app. I’ve tried closing out all other apps while using the Hatch app, all while having full bars of service and wifi, and the problem persists. You can close the app and reopen it to “reset” the loading times for an action or two, but they’ll be right back up to 2 minutes in no time. Theoretically, once you get your routines set you shouldn’t have to mess with the app, but it’s been 1 month of having the app’s free trial and I still find myself sometimes wanting to adjust the preset volume or wanting to swap out sounds for the right fit. I can’t wait to cancel at the end of my free trial so I hopefully won’t have to bother with the app again. I don’t even care if I lose some functionality like the very helpful “sunset” Cue to Unwind feature which is tied up in the subscription, I will gain time in my life back. The app is certainly pretty to look at, but that might be what’s bogging it down. Overall, I seriously thought about returning it but I’ll keep it because I got it on sale and I do like the device itself. Another sunrise alarm clock will probably do what you need it to do without the big price tag or frustration.

Very expensive plus subscribe
Couldn’t box it back up fast enough. Way too complicated. Apart from having to subscribe…

Misleading and disappointing
Very disappointing. The hardware is good but the app is unusable. There is a lot of potential in this product but they will only realise it when they throw out the current app and rebuild it with ease of use and flexibility in mind. Honestly this industry is begging for a competitor to come in and show us how this can be done well. Unfortunately Hatch is not that (yet? 🤞). I'd love to return my Hatch 3 and wait for that competitor, maybe they never come but this $200 disappointment is not bringing me any joy.

Muito caro, encontrei o mesmo produto por 170€ e comprei sofá oferecer e é exatamente igual, e ainda vem com uma ficha do Reino Unido, tem que se usar com adaptador.
