Does everything you could want flawless 4k MKV playback with Dolby Vision and Atmos. UI could do with a bit more polish.

It is well worth paying the extra for this media player compared to the many units available for half the price. The build quality is much higher, the functionality better and crucially the codec support is comprehensive.

Not impressed, would not switch on.

Dune are the best video streaming devices for me as I need USB Hard Drive and NAS playback. This is much better than my older Dune that finally gave up the ghost as they now play AAC audio and the old one wouldn't. Unfortunately mine had a fault with intermittent but regular sound drop out so had to be returned. Amazon didn't have a replacement so I hope that in the near future I can buy one again and that it will be fault free. The dropped star is due to the audio fault, otherwise this is 5 star all the way.

great box.plays eveerything ,but really bad lip sync issues,tried everything but nothing works .returning it

Only wanted this box to play films from a USB3 stick, sadly it kept freezing after 15 - 20 minutes, picture and sound were good but despite upgrading software the problem persisted, returned for refund.

Having used the homatics box and the R_volution mini player which this basically uses the same software but for £150 cheaper which is great value. i have to say this is simpler and better. I use this for media i have ripped onto a hard drive and it has a great menu system now that the Dune HD center is automatically installed from the start as it didnt before.Its very quick to move around the menus .You get artwork once you update the library which looks good and easy to manage through and see all your movies. Plays all the video formats ive thrown at it mkv,the new av1 and sound is great and can decode DOLBY ATMOS AND DTS-X and OPUS with no problems. Setting up was easy just followed on screen setup and up and running within 10 minutes. I dont use this for streaming channels but you can if you wanted to. The remote is not too big and again very simple to use with only the main buttons near the top being used for my purposes. Compared to the Homatics which doesnt do DTSX its same exact software but just a more powerful updated box.Compared to the R_volution mini its menus are similar but not as refined but i hated waiting around for the mini to get through 2 clicks to get to the film and it lagged which was £300 so this Dune HD pro same size, same build similar and simpler menu and software is miles better .Have been very happy with this purchase

Een zeer goede mediaspeler, speelt alles af. Je kunt bekeken films direct wissen van de harddisk. Minpuntje is dat je niet de bekeken films die je wilt bewaren, niet kunt markeren als gezien maar misschien dit een tip is voor een software update. Ik ben er zeer tevreden over.

Articolo perfetto in tutto l’unica cosa è che nello scatolo non mi sono uscite le pile come in realtà si diceva in descrizione, ma probabilmente si sono dimenticati di metterle in fase di produzione. In ogni caso, do cinque stelle perché l’imballo era perfetto e anche tutto il materiale all’interno e funziona in maniera eccellente..

Je suis 100% satisfait de mon lecteur Dune. Il fait exactement ce dont j’ai besoin et même plus. Je le recommande les yeux fermés.

Excellente image. Compatible avec énormément de formats de fichiers. L'interface Dune HD est conviviale et rapide. Très bon chois en lecteur multimédia.
