## Questions & Answers

**Q: Just how is the power wiring routed?**
A: There's an opening in the back.

**Q: Is anyone using these outdoors in a cold climate? Camera specs say down to 32 degrees. Will the cameras work in colder temps?**
A: We just got ours today, and we live where it is 2 degrees tonight. We put this in our entry way (still probably about 10 degrees) and the camera started to pan on its own both up and down and side to side. After researching the weather specs, we brought it inside and it was still turning on it’s own. A quick unplug and putting it in the window by a heater helped.

I would NOT recommend using this in colder climates only because this may cause wires to short after some time.

**Q: How can I mount this on vinyl siding?**
A: I would use longer screws and go into what ever is under the siding

**Q: Does this offer any form of water/weatherproofing?**
A: I would say that it offers weather resistance but it is not waterproof. It is open on the back where the USB cable goes through the housing and into the camera. I've had one for about 6 months and it has gone through several pretty good rain storms and the camera still works perfectly.
