Nectar Kids 8" Full Memory Foam Mattress, 2-Side Design, Ages 3-12+

I was skeptical about this mattress because of the price but I’m so glad I bought it. It’s worth every penny. It’s super comfortable and my son sleeps great because of it. I like that it’s firm enough for him at this age and it will grow with him. There is one side for ages 3-7 and the other side is ages 8-12. I am happy that this mattress will be getting used until he is age 12. It’s not too soft or uncomfortable for him. It was very easy to use straight out of the box. The cover is machine washable which is great for his age in case of accidents. I love that it has a lifetime warranty and I didn’t need to utilize their return because I love this mattress so much.

We are very happy with this bed! To start, I am slightly biased because I sleep on a Nectar mattress already. That said, we bought this for our toddler to grow into. It has two sides, one form for younger years and one soft for when they’re a little older. I personally think it’s really comfortable and our toddler seems to agree (although it’s easy to please a toddler). Be prepared for when you get it, you are supposed to wait at least 24 hours to let it expand. However, ours popped up at least 95%, probably more, in just a couple of hours. Someone could have easily slept on it the first night. At the same time, it has the tiniest smell that first night but this goes away quick and the company advertises it is low VOCs and the smell isn’t harmful (from what they say). It’s a clean white and regular size twin bed. Make sure you get a frame that is meant to support memory foam if you are going to get one.

We’ve had this mattress for our two year-old for a few months now and are very happy with it! Our little one sleeps well, and I find it comfortable lying in bed with them. The full size fits our bed frame perfectly. It appears to be of good quality and worth the price paid. We are happy with it!

Convenient and comfortable bed-in-a-box. I ordered this twin memory foam mattress on 8/31 and received it less than 12 hours later on 9/1. No weird off gasing odors, fluffed up quickly (probably took 48-72 hours to truly be done) and feels comfortable according to my 4 year old whom this bed is intended for. Minus a star due to the fact that three out of four bed corners never truly fluffed up for us, even 3 weeks later as I write this. They appear pinched/smooshed - perhaps how I would imagine they’d look like after years of someone sitting on the edges, but alas, the mattress is brand new. Time will tell how it holds up (and feels) when it’s time to flip the mattress over for the 8-12 year old side of the bed.

I bought is mattress for my toddler grand daughter last Christmas 2025. Even her dad sleeps on it time to time says it is comfortable. Easy to use. No odor. Great looking mattress, just saying. It works.

I purchased this mattress for my daughter’s floor bed because I wanted something comfortable enough to lay on with her during the transition to sleeping in her own bed. I normally do not leave long reviews, but I felt the need to share my experience because there are several reasons why I would not recommend this mattress. I understand that children are generally supposed to sleep on a firmer mattress for safety reasons, but this mattress is beyond firm. It is honestly firmer than a crib mattress, which is really saying something. The mattress has two sides — one advertised as firmer and one softer — but both sides feel almost identical and extremely hard. Sleeping on it literally feels like laying on a door. There is absolutely nothing soft, plush, or comfortable about it at all. I even purchased a mattress topper hoping it would help make the mattress softer, but it made little to no difference. Another major issue was the smell. The mattress had a very strong chemical odor immediately after opening it, and it completely filled the room for days. Even now, if you smell the mattress directly, the chemical smell is still very noticeable. This was especially concerning because the mattress is marketed as hypoallergenic and free from harmful materials like fiberglass. What worried me most was that within the first two days of sleeping on this mattress, I developed hives all over my body. Nothing else in my environment had changed besides the mattress. My daughter has also been sleeping poorly, constantly tossing and turning and seeming uncomfortable throughout the night. I cannot say for certain what material caused the reaction, but the timing was concerning enough for me to stop feeling safe using this mattress. I also contacted Nectar directly asking for a full ingredients/materials list because I wanted to know whether the mattress contains latex or any other chemicals or materials that could potentially trigger an allergic reaction. Unfortunately, no one has been willing to provide me with that information, which has made the situation even more concerning. The return process has also been incredibly frustrating. The mattress advertises a 100-night trial, but honestly, it feels misleading when you cannot actually get ahold of anyone to honor it. Amazon directed me to contact Nectar directly, and when I did, Nectar told me to contact Amazon instead. I’ve now been passed around between multiple people with no real solution or assistance. At this point, it almost feels like the 100-night trial is advertised to give customers peace of mind, but when something actually goes wrong, no one responds or helps you figure out how to return the product or get your money back for something that is not as advertised. By the time anyone actually resolves the issue, the trial period could easily be over. Overall, this mattress has been extremely uncomfortable, had an overpowering chemical smell, and may have caused allergic reactions for both me and my daughter. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing this mattress unless the company is willing to properly address these concerns and make things right with a replacement or refund.
