Bochem 50ml Flexible Super Strong Glue for Rubber, Leather, Fabric, Plastic; Clear, High Viscosity; Synthetic Rubber; Liquid; Shoe; Water Resistant

Bought this glue to reattach the sole of my favourite, use every day, dog walking, Rhinegold yard boots. They cover a lot of miles in a lot muddy, wet conditions (in the photo had just been through a massive puddle!) & I had been told by Timpsons they couldn’t be repaired as they are ‘welded’ soles. I love my boots. I glued them with this glue way back about a month ago. I had to clamp the sole in place as it had flapped right back & there was a lot of surface area to stick. Held it all in place for 24 hours & really didn’t expect such a strong, seemingly watertight bond. Surpassed expectations 👍

I used this glue to reattach the rear half of the sole of a walking shoe, and after days of curing, the bond was excellent and has lasted for weeks so far. Strongly recommended. Note that although the printing is in Polish there is an English instruction leaflet supplied.

Works brilliantly. Followed the instructions and had no issues. I glued rubber soles to the soles of monster slippers and the rubber is still in place. When the glue dries, the rubber sole of the slippers is flexible and not rigid.

this is ok glue for general use, however, I glued the sole of some trainers which had come away on the sides of the shoe, and after one wear they're unstuck again, so not as reliable as the glue that a shoe shop uses. Also I glued a wooden handle to a dust pan (a dowel in a hole) and it lasted a couple of weeks, but it has detached again, in the same place. Obviously this dust pan gets a lot of use and movement. But I would recommend this glue for items that don't get handled much or move much. Follow the instructions.

The best Edit: it still holds after years. I am about to order another tub.

Bought this to repair a pair of Vans Slip-ons. Only 3 months old and the front canvas part of the shoe had completely detached from the rubber sole. Couldn't justify binning them due to the original cost and the fact that they still have years of wear left in them. Looked around and found this glue at a very good price. So decided to give this a go, followed the instructions that came with it and it was brilliant. Stuck the canvas and the insole back in position and seems to hold really well. Hopefully it will last a good while and I don't have to buy a new pair too soon.
