I fill it up: one celery, half cucumber, parsley and one orange = about 9 oz of juice. You must clean and chop veggies and fruit into small pieces as there is no feeder. The result is much more juice than you get with standard juicer. I juiced the same combo in my old juicer (feeder type) and got less than 5 oz. Pulp comes out slowly and gracefully into the container. I line the container with a plastic bag for even easier cleanup. The parts come apart easily for cleaning. You do have to tug the strainer out of spinner and push to snap it back in. I was a little timid at first until I watched their video. Brushes are provided for pulp that gets into tight spaces.
