One word --- AWESOME
I've had multiple bluetooth speakers over the years, mostly in the JBL line, but also some off-brands here on Amazon. And I have to say, this little bluetooth speaker is the BEST one I've ever owned. Sound quality is great for a bluetooth speaker. Obviously you're not going to get the same sound quality as a dedicated sound system, but this does the job great, and is probably the best-sounding bluetooth speaker I've ever owned. It's also capable of VERY loud volumes, something that cheaper brands often skimp on. But what REALLY sells this bluetooth speaker is the sheer love they put into pulling off the classic boombox aesthetic. For a bluetooth speaker, I wasn't expecting much, and have walked away amazed at the effort the put into this. For example: + Besides being a bluetooth speaker, it's unexpectedly ALSO a working FM radio --- with the old-school extending antenna to boot! (the antenna actually appears to work, as I don't get as much static when moving the unit around if I have it extended, which is pretty sweet) + The cassette deck and AM/FM station dial light up blue, which is a lovely visual touch. + There's a volume dial on the top of the bluetooth that ACTUALLY works for controlling the volume. Very nostalgic. + Not just that, but there are classic playback buttons on the top (play, rewind and ffwd), where you'd expect them to be on a classic boombox. + The unit also has a flip-up carry handle just like the old boomboxes had too. + Finally, there's a visualization display that shows the classic rhythm bars that these radios used to have. Overall the functions are easy to use, and mirror the sort of functionality you'd typically expect from a bluetooth speaker. I had no problem pairing it with my smartphone and jamming out. One last thing I wanted to mention is that it FEELS like a quality product. There's a heft to it that I was pleasantly surprised by when I pulled it out of the box, and a solidness to all of the components that make it feel premium, and not just another cheap plastic hunk of junk (which is what most of my bluetooth speakers over the years typically feel like). There are only a couple of minor "disappointments", but they're honestly completely negligible from my perspective, and are actually regarding features I wasn't even expecting the speakers to have to begin with. There are bass and treble "buttons" at the top, that are unfortunately decorative and don't do anything. Similarly, there's a radio tuning dial on the side of the unit that's also just decorative (changing stations is actually controlled with the play button when you switch modes from bluetooth to radio). Again, not even features I was expecting it to have, but something I thought to mention anyways, since it'd be pretty sick if they made a version 2.0 in the future that gets them working. Lastly, thoughts on cost --- for the quality, I'm surprised this appears to cost less than the JBL speakers I've purchased over the years. I went into buying it think I might be overpaying for something clunky and cheap, but now I feel like it's way, WAY better than I had expected for the price I paid. Just an amazing all-around speaker, and definitely something I'm going to consider buying again to gift to friends and family in the future. I highly, highly recommend it!

Detailed, die-cast housing. Well built.
I didn’t really seek this product out, but it was something that was recommended to me by Amazon based on previous purchases. I took a chance on it and was pleasantly surprised. This is actually a very nicely built, very sturdy little Bluetooth speaker. More importantly than it being a speaker, it’s build quality is die-cast metal! I was very surprised by that. This thing is actually metal. And the detail in the housing is such that it would look great as a decorative piece. I did pair it to my phone and it sounds just fine as a Bluetooth speaker. If you’re looking for great sound quality for music, you’ll probably want something with bigger speakers, and more of them, that can produce richer sound, but it is a very unique and well built product. I was pleasantly surprised by this boombox Bluetooth speaker.

It's mightier sounding then you'd think, superb boombox!
This is a great novelty item that functions as a decent bluetooth speaker that packs a surprisingly good punch soundwise for the size. I am blown away at the depth and clarity of the sound. It even has a cool blue led light and a working sound level led that moves to the music. The fm radio feature is more than adequate and once you get the hang of using it, you can pick up a decent number of radio stations. Yes, it would be nice to know which station you are listening to. Given it's small size it would be impossible to put a visible working radio dial on it. To sum it all up, it Is a nice stereo boombox and it sounds great and gets loud for It's size!

Don't buy it
Stopped working 3rd time using it. Kept hoping it would bring back the sound if I left it alone but nope. Tossed the box out because it really looks cool and I didn't plan on returning it but regret that now because I can't return it.

Awesome
I am surprised at how loud this little speaker actually is. One thing though DO NOT TAKE IT IN THE SHOWER!
