It broke the white connecting wire from battery to circuit board (during first night flying). How can it be repaired?** A: Tough one… Can it be done, yes, can you do it?… Depends on your skills and tools. The receiver/esc unit will need to be removed to fix it any way you cut it. New receiver /esc unit is $60 at Tower Hobbies. New plane is $130. Given the cost and the extensive labor involved to fix it hard to say which way to go. Whats your time worth and how much money do you have.? Next time use velcro and tape on the battery. Its a little more trouble but avoids this type of problem. Good luck. **Q: Where can I get Extra propellers?** A: Horizon Hobby has the UMX Night Vapor replacement parts on their website including the propellers. Ordering from them is probably the most direct way to get the parts. UMX parts I've ordered thru Amazon have always come damaged either thru poor packing or rough handling. **Q: I do not see this plane in Realflight 9.5 , is there a simulator version of this plane? I would like to practice before I buy.** A: If you’ll just learn to fly any high wing plane on the simulator and you will be able to fly this plane in a calm wind environment. Its the slowest flying plane Ive ever had. But it can be crashed and torn up,so practice landing. Anyone can take off…:) Good luck. **Q: Can I use 200 mAh batteries?** A: A 200 mAh 1s battery should be fine. I use a 250 mAh 1s. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Flying Lil Plane *by on Reviewed in the United States 28 June 2024* I've been flying RC aircraft for over 50 years and wanted a small and slow aircraft that I could fly in my backyard while relaxing in the evenings with a cool beverage. The UMX Night Vapor fit the bill perfectly. It's very easy to fly, even for a new comer with the built-in stabilization. The stabilization can be turn-off for that more spirited pilot. When flying outdoors, best to fly when there's little to no wind, since this lightweight aircraft can easily be blown into the trees. The plane can be flown indoors, but unless the plane is flown in a large area, such as a gymnasium, maneuverability will be limited. Durability is good, however if you fly the plane into an hard obstacle at maximum speed, it will break. Also, handle the aircraft gently - it's delicate. Keep the original eFlite box for storage. Setup was easy, charge the battery, insert battery into aircraft battery holder with hook and loop (Velcro), turn on the transmitter, plug in aircraft battery and fly. The hook and loop attachment for the battery can sometimes let loose, so a small hook and loop tie wrap is more useful. YMMV ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cool RC *by on Reviewed in Canada 21 January 2024* Great for indoor flying in the local arena, during the winter months. Keep the stick time up to date. Great deal on a ready to fly RC airplane. Stable, easy to fly and lots of fun. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, just no wind! *by on Reviewed in the United States 6 September 2026* Super fun and easy to fly. Must be a wind free location. Does not do well with the slightest breeze… ## Frequently Bought Together - E-flite RC Airplane UMX Night Vapor RTF to Fly is Included with AS3X and Safe Select EFLU1300 - E-flite Propeller with Spinner 140mm x 45mm Vapor/Night EFLUP14045 Replacement Airplane Parts - E-flite 70mAh 1S 3.7V 14C LiPo Battery EFLB0701S Airplane Batteries --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/697317575-e-flite-rc-airplane-umx-night-vapor-rtf-to-fly](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/697317575-e-flite-rc-airplane-umx-night-vapor-rtf-to-fly) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
