Works flawlessly... It's fast...
Works perfectly. I am using a MacBook pro, the dvd drive is working it's also fast. It's great to get back old songs that I recorded in 2007... Great memories. Happy with this external dvd drive...

Not reliable connection keeps dropping
I bought this CD/DVD writer but I am facing continuous connect and disconnect issues. It does not stay stable while using and sometimes stops working in between. I tried different USB ports (Type-C and USB 3.1), but the problem still continues. The device seems to have power or hardware issues. It is not reliable for regular use. I expected better performance from this product. Not satisfied with the product. Would not recommend.

It works. But it's slow. Think it's the cable tats making it slow. Would hv been nice if the cable was removable so we could hv used a different cable.
