I don’t know the length of the tape but it covered the original cushion perfectly and increased the bat handle to a perfection dimension.

how strong is the adhesive

It is a very strong adhesive. It holds in hot, humid conditions and in wet ones as well. It does get very dirty though...

I did not measure it before I put it on, but it wrapped a 30" length little league bat at the same length that it was with original grip.

Can you tell me if it comes with the security tape and if it can be used on an adult softball bat?

It sticks very well to composite bats. I have it on 2. Lot of cushion and holds on well.
