Fabulous game and steel case is beautiful, dlc included for cheaper than it will be on release so the book was basically free

genuinly surprised by how good the game is and the steelbook version for less than 30 is a cherry on top,runs pretty well in performance mode at 60 fps with occasional drops to around 45fps

The race to stay ahead of the power/difficulty curve recontextualises the familiar Elden Ring mechanics by encouraging aggressive play. Very well designed in that regard. There’s a lot of variety in items, bosses and party dynamics. Ongoing updates and limited time event schedules make for decent longevity. Some people hate that there’s no voice chat, but I love that as it encourages creative communication through basic emotes etc. Players have to actively consider one another’s intents and skill levels. A super special game.

Shame I was really hoped for this one, frames drops even on ps5 pro with vrr tv, no communication whatsoever with other players, lack of duos 😢 is biggest no no. Apart from name and cool steel box is hardly reminds any of From Software games. More like Elden Ring from Temu or Elden Ring skin for Fortnite.
