Wavytalk Thermal Brush Blowout Express 1.5" Ionic Heat Round Brush

saw this on tiktok a lot and wasn’t too convinced. eventually caved and got it on amazon bc it was quicker delivery. i don’t have crazy curls, very calm beach waves that coil every so often if i’m lucky, but surprisingly this worked very well. usually a straightener/flatiron takes a few passes with a comb to help, but this was two passes and done. beautifully straightened my hair with that’s 90s blowout look. only down side is the plug isn’t one of those block ones, so it might disconnect easily if you move too much. very easy to use. i find using a round brush usually tangles in my hair and is impossible to twist, but the little grip at the tip doesn’t get hot and is helpful to turn the brush. the heat settings are good. i find using the mid setting good, but if you have bigger curls the highest setting is probably better for you. the cord is a decent length for a vanity, idk about standing with the socket far away. it’s lightweight and doesn’t tire me out. i’m not sure how versatile it is, but for its use it’s real great. for the price it’s decent. you can’t disconnect it and put other attachments on unless you get one that can. i got the pink one. very cute.

I purchased this because ,truth be told, I am kind of a klutz, especially with my hair ....a brush in one hand and a blow dryer in the other was no longer cutting it. I had shoulder surgery after a bad fall and break and even with a year+ of PT I don't have the range of motion I used to have. This has made a big difference in my daily hair routine. This does not blow air, it's a heated brush (so make sure your hair is dry before using) and it is so easy to use. My hair is about shoulder length so the brush diameter works perfectly for me, a bit shorter or longer would still work. I had it about a month ago and was getting my hair cut so I brought it with me. My hair dresser really liked it, and used it to style my hair and it looked great. Using it is not rocket science, you don't need a professional stylist to walk you thru it. I think it's a great tool, I'm glad I got it. I thought it was good value for the money

I received this today and immediately tried it. Overall I did like it! Pros -fast -effective for a smooth blowout look -works well on my wavy, frizzy (baby hairs) hair -no tangles or snags: hair glides through Cons -button placement: I repeatedly changed the heat setting accidentally -cord: when holding with barrel side up, the cord can tangle around -minimal hit settings: there are 3 predetermined settings but would be better if you could fine tune to your liking -cool touch tip still gets relatively hot. Not enough to burn, but I definitely felt the heat Overall I did really enjoy the product but it could use some small adjustments

I ordered this to help me with my very unruly, curly, frizzy hair! Although I am able to blow dry my hair to almost straight, within hours the frizz and curls return.. until now! This Thermal Brush has changed my life with my hair. It is meant to be used on dry hair, it is NOT a blow dryer in any way, shape or form. Your hair must be completely dry when using it. It is very simple to use especially if you already have the knack for blow drying your hair in sections with a round brush. There are 3 heat settings … I use the highest temperature because of how curly my hair is. If you watch the videos for this you can see how easy it is to use and it really does smooth out those curls but doesn’t make your hair stick straight. On the contrary, it somehow adds body to your hair so it appears bouncy and slightly wavy, if this makes any sense? This Thermal brush has been a game changer for me…WHERE HAS IT BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE!! My only complaint would be that the buttons (located on the handle) that control the temperature settings can get in your way while using, you can accidentally push the bottons to change the temperature setting without realizing it. All good and not a bad enough issue to take away a star in the rating! Thanks again to Amazon… I won’t be having as many bad hair days after purchasing this wonderful item!!!!!!!!

This is one of the best products I’ve ever purchased for my hair. I can wash my hair, let it hair dry, then do a nice wave in my hair. It holds your hair in the brush and does a beautiful wave. Love love love this. PS - I NEVER leave reviews!

I was very happy with this tool at first. While I was disappointed to realize it didn’t blow hot air, I tried it anyway and it ended up being my favorite tool for styling. I’d let my hair dry naturally and then use this tool to form waves each time I washed my hair, or for a quick touch up before going out. My hair has a slight wave to it but it generally looks messy unless I heat style it. This was the perfect tool for that until it stopped heating up. I purchased it on 4/8/26 and it’s now 5/24/26 and already it doesn’t get as hot as it did for the first few weeks. I went back and read the critical reviews and see many that say the tool didn’t last a year. Mine lasted long enough to be past the return window. It still heats but doesn’t curl as well since it doesn’t get as hot. I’m disappointed and would try another to see if it was just randomly a bad one, but don’t want to chance ending up with another dud. Next time I will go to the store.

I have fine, curly hair that is going gray, and I wanted something to extend my time between washes. I'm inept at styling tools, but this is really easy to use. I'm impressed with how quickly this tool straightens and smooths my hair on the lowest setting. I let the brush heat up, then turn it off to use as it cools. It still retains enough heat to style my hair. The brush is very lightweight, not bulky, and will be good for traveling.

I purchased my Wavytalk last June 2024 on a recommendation from a youtuber I have watched for the last 6 years and have used it almost every single day since. I have medium length, thick hair & I do color to keep my gray hair in check. In the several months I have used the Wavytalk I have not had any problems with it damaging my hair. It actually does make it look healthier each time I use it which no other curling iron has ever done before. And I use it every morning for work so believe me when I say it does not dry out my hair or make it look frizzy. I also have switched to better hair shampoo/conditioner and a blow dryer for my hair type so I think that plays a part too. Now there are two reasons why I am not giving it 5 stars. One, I have thick hair and the time I have to hold the brush to get a curl is longer than the 20 seconds that is shown in the directions. I end up leaving it in for about a minute. And even after doing that the curl does not hold well in my hair. My hair falls flat only after about half a day at work. Recently I started using a workable hairspray that I spray on before and it seems like it helps a little bit. Still, it doesn't last as long as I would like it to which is unfortunate because when I first curl it & finish it up it looks perfect. The waves are gorgeous & it looks like I did have a professional do my hair! The second reason is because I noticed that the brush bristles are falling off at a rapid rate so I will have to end up purchasing the brush again and it hasn't even been a year. I hope that they make improvements to it in the near future. Please please please make a new brush that can hold up the curls for people with thick hair and make some changes to the brush bristles so they don't fall out. Overall, I am happy with the Wavytalk thermal brush and would recommend to give it a try. I think you will love it, it is a game changer! Update 7/2025 Well, I ended up contacting the Wavytalk folks to replace my brush a few months back. Within two weeks I had a replacement. Customer service was great, unfortunately, I can't say that I am still in love with the Wavytalk. Yes, it still softens my hair & makes the frizz go away but it also is damaging my hair & small hairs are falling out every time I use it.. not just a small amount, I am covered in small hairs after using the brush. I know... this is the total opposite of what I had said a few months back but this was not happening in the beginning, only after about a year of constant use did I start to notice. I was using it on high heat & for a longer amount of time so I started using the lower heat & only kept it in my hair for 20-30 seconds. I have been using heat protectant products beforehand as well. I am disappointed to say that none of this has helped. Maybe because my hair is thick & it only works for thin hair but I am not sure. The replacement brush is also losing the bristles so this probably will not last another year! I figured it would happen since they sent the exact same brush as I had before. I sure hope Wavytalk can make some improvements. For me, it just didn't work out.

The product was the worst, the heat didn’t work, I sent it to my friend in Albania as a gift, I didn’t open it to try it and she said to me that it didn’t work, I need another one so I can send it to her

Tenía tantas expectativas de probarlo. Me quise esperar varios días de uso para decirlo. Es un gran artículo que te da un peinado bastante estilizado y en poco tiempo. Ahorras tiempo. Y mucho . Pero como bien dicen otros comentarios NO se usa en cabello humdo. Debes sacarlo perfectamente primero . La segunda recomendación es usar siempre peitector de calor. Porque claramente si quema con uso inadecuado. Pero si eres una persona que anda de arriba para abajo siempre sin tiempo. Esta herramienta es una maravilla. Algo que me enca to tambien es que las ondas si me duran todo el día. Aunque obvio, se bajan un poco. Pero se soluciona con un pequeño retoque . Por que al ser pequeños y cero ruidoso. Es fácil llevarlo a muchos lados.
