Down by the Bay (Raffi Songs to Read)

Cute book to read and sing to!

The book is written as a story, but it's also a song! (Check YouTube) My grandchildren love it. And they live near a bay! When they saw the bay for the first time, my grandson asked, "Where are the watermelons?" Haha!

My daughter runs to me with this book; she loves it so much. I love the colors and the silly rhymes within the book. She can point and name things from the book now, and it's so adorable!

My kid loves this book, super cute, easy to read, great to sing alone, good size and she loves the drawings

My granddaughter enjoys it and we sing to a recording while turning the pages. Good illustrations.

This is a classic

My son loves this book. This is actually are second one because he loved the first one to pieces...literally! Being a preschool teacher, I come across a wide range of books and stories, and this one is a keeper. Most children enjoy stories that rhyme or involve singing. The song is fun and encourages children to learn about rhyming. I can't wait for my son to start coming up with his own rhymes (he's 1.5 right now). The illustrations are cute and fun. A quick tip, if you don't know how the song goes, look up the song online and you'll quickly find one where the author Raffi sings it. Awesome book for every age!

This book is really cute. I always sing the song with the kids , however, I sometimes forget the verses and have to come up with my own rhyme lol. Nonetheless, having pictures is a major plus as it keeps the kids engaged.
