Easy to install, but the manufacturer could have included more zip ties and a proper manual on how to install (physical and configuration). Work fine but will take some time and patience to setup. Had to buy for getting wifi to distant house (2 houses with one connection)

rock solid stable. using to connect to another place @ 0.3km away and getting full dignal strength + 60mbps from to point to point. I have 40Mibit Fiber internet and getting the same speed at the other end too, was skeptical initially to buy or not but it is working really very well... the front is glossy :( I put a plastic cover and a hole at the bottom to keep it clean outdoor, fixed to a pole. UPDATE: Ordered on 11 December 2016 STILL ROCK SOLID. Tp-Link WR740n, DVR, PC, WiFi - > AP -------- Client <-router - 2x PC, 1 DVR, WiFi Thinking to go to ubiquiti one but has no service, tp link much better than that in service and reliability. if PoE adapter dies, it is 24v and easily available to replace due to standard 24v, ubiqiti has 25v and many other issues too, cheap quality, breaking rings, etc, TP link has a solid installation base and I am using this since 2 months without any issue,

Good product but signal strength average. Hight is very important point to point network I am using 500 Miter to my access point. Hight is 40 fit and above proper connection. Barrier to signal connection any Trees, building Etc.

I was confused to as which product to get for connecting my home and the office. After some research, I zeroed down on this product. The product came in with nice packaging and was new. I bought.2 N300 5GHz version, one for office and one for home. The distance between the two stations is 600m, and it shows full signal. The transmission speed is great, however, do note that the setup can be a bit complex, I had to tinker around in my (router, not CPE) settings for a few weeks to get it right. Now its working flawlessly. A few important pointers. 1) Even though the maximum power on the label is 13 dbi, there is a work around to get it upto 25dbi, Just change your region to USA, and then back to India. 2) The CPE ONLY supports 5GHz antennas, so incase you are buying only one, make sure the other CPE is 5GHz too. I repeat., There is no 2Ghz option. 3) In case you are a beginner, Like I was, make sure to setup the routers connecting to CPE properly. Use Access point mode and give them a static IP. Can't stress this enough. 4)The speed is incredible, I have a fiber connection at office and wanted to bring it at home. I always get 90-100mbps of download speed. 5) Get a GST inovice, that will save you taxes. I tried all the basic troubleshooting steps, didn't work so for. I have contacted TP link support, will update here. UPDATE 2: Essentially after calling 10s of times, everytime they promise a callback and never do.

Using for CCTV camera at three different locations and getting 270mbps connectivity in 1.5km.

aside from getting used one i can return it but don't have time since the product working fine.. I purchased 2 to install point to point in 5km distance getting 60mbps same as my plan... I recommend to absorb spectrum analysis to select the right frequency band to prevent from ping loss...

No issues for 3 years now..

Not working as a router

The CPE works well and the connection is stable. However, the speed is limited to around 80 Mbps, which is lower than expected. Other than that, it performs really well and reliable.

Working from home, I moved my office into the garage at the end of my garden and needed solid, reliable internet so I purchased two of these. I attached one to the outside of the house connected to my router pointing directly at the other which I attached to the garage connected to a small network switch. With the solid 300Mbps wireless connection the computers in the garage now get the same internet speed as if they were plugged directly into the router and faster than I was getting on the 2.4Ghz wifi in the house. I also got my SkyQ minibox to work over the wireless link in the garage so i can stream TV when not working. overall, very pleased. would recommend for anyone in a similar position.

Utilicé un par de estos para compartir el internet de una casa a otra. En la otra casa que no tenía internet, agregué un Access Point para dar acceso a la red por Wifi y este lo conecté al CPE. Fácilmente se alcanza la velocidad de 100 Mbps y nunca se cae la conexión. La verdad muy recomendables. Ahora ya no hay necesidad de pagar por otro servicio de internet :)

These work well to get a shed over 200m away from the house connected to the NBN. The speed is 6x faster than my 50Mbps plan, so plenty of spare. They claim to work up to 29km, but I cannot test that. I do wonder about the robustness of the materials. They feel more like indoor consumer products than outdoor devices. I also have doubts about their ability to withstand the hot Aussie sun. We will see. Mine still work after 1 week. I will update if/when they fail. Update: still working in August 2020.
