I bought the DJI Osmo Mobile 7P smartphone gimbal and overall I’m really impressed with what it does. The 3-axis stabilisation keeps my clips nice and steady even when I’m walking or moving around, so my videos look way more professional than handheld shots. It’s quick to set up — literally unfold it, stick your phone on the magnetic mount and you’re ready to shoot. The built-in extension rod and tripod make it super flexible for selfies or low angles without carrying extra gear. The tracking features are awesome too. The gimbal follows subjects smoothly without me having to adjust manually, which is perfect for vlogs, family recordings, or content creation. Battery life is solid — I easily get around 8-10 hours of use before needing a recharge, and there’s even a USB-C port that can charge your phone while you’re filming. My only small gripe is the app experience — sometimes it can be a bit buggy or laggy depending on your phone, and some people have mentioned it crashing or not working perfectly. But for basic stabilisation and shooting, I usually just use my phone’s native camera app and it works great.

Ok, here it is: If you're serious or even semi serious about filming whatever, you'd be bonkers not to get this Gimbal. It is absolutely out of this world and a must have. This particular Gimbal has an extra tracking module that connects to the bracket and makes filming yourself, using the main lenses, an absolute doddle. Buy pulling the trigger on the handle a green light shows that the main subject, eg. you, is in focus, and the camera will follow you, giving you proportionate head and side space, not to mention no more jerkiness. If you enjoy filming, whether for fun or semi professionally, this is the ultimate instrument to add to your hobby or avocation. I looked at several Gimbals but this is the best as it works well with other dji equipment. The brackets can even hold the Action 4 cameras, which is why I bought it.

The DJI Osmo Mobile 7P is a fantastic piece of tech for anyone looking to level up their iPhone videos. The ActiveTrack 7.0 is incredibly responsive, making it easy to film yourself or keep up with moving subjects without the footage looking shaky. I especially love the built-in extension rod—it is perfect for getting those higher angle shots or better group selfies without needing extra gear. The stabilization is top notch, and the magnetic clamp makes it quick to swap your phone in and out. I did have a bit of a rocky start with this purchase. The first unit I received appeared to be used; it had some scuffs and was missing a few of the essential parts from the box. Thankfully, the return and reorder process was easy. The second one I received was in perfect, brand new condition and has worked flawlessly since. One thing to keep in mind is that the package includes no usage directions or manual. You will definitely need to go to their website and watch the tutorial videos to figure out how to balance and operate everything properly. If you get a "fresh" unit and take the time to watch the guides, it is easily the best gimbal on the market.

Did not disappoint. DJI makes great products and this one definitely fills that expectation easy to learn easy to set up. I love the tracking device. It takes a quick charge and really does a good job shooting the app works well with it very little glitches and easy to use.

Its a very nice gimbal but the magnetic tracking camera doesnt work very good so dont pay extra for that feature, if you use the app and your phone the tracking is great, it is a very well built gimbal but no replacable battery, its built in so its kind of disposable Very nice aluminum build quality though, very smooth videos Excellent motors and motor control.

Solid performance, long battery life and well made. This is a great accessory for phone photography. I capture many panoramas and the panorama mode here is excellent. Very happy with the purchase

Tested this with both walking and panning shots to evaluate stabilization performance. The motor response is smooth, and footage appears significantly more stable compared to handheld recording. For content creators or anyone prioritizing steady video, this device performs reliably. I’ll continue testing additional modes, but initial results are impressive.
