Kebtek Telescopic Extension Pole for Electric Pruning Shear

Works great very light to handle made this tool better for trimming with out using a ladder and a fair price.

This transforms a fantastic tool into a truly amazing one. If you ever prune above your head, you want this extension pole. Could it be improved, sure. It could extend longer and the extension lock could be better. The strap could be redesigned to better support needing to hold the thing way up high when you're trimming the highest you can reach (though, I'm not totally sure how to do this). That being said, life without an extended kebtech isn't really living.

So I’ve only used the extension pole once for a couple hours. It’s a must have if you have the Kebtek KT940. Time will tell how it’ll hold up. I like that I can use the trigger on the extension pole or the the actual KT940 if I need to get up real close for a second. I thought I would have to break it down to use the KT940 trigger. So that was a nice surprise. My only complaint is the shoulder strap. It seems fine. But the hardware on the strap seem cheap and flimsy. I agree with other reviewers that have said using the shoulder strap as intended seems pointless. You can’t extend and reach out the way it’s intended to be attached to the pole. My work around this issue was to clip the far end of the strap to the hardware near the trigger on the pole. I basically attached the hardware to each other. This way I can still use it around my shoulder and extend and reach out to cut branches. I think the price point Is too expensive and the strap hardware is too cheap for how expensive it is. Update: I’ve used it twice, a couple hours each time. Today the trigger on the pole kept sticking. It would only stick for a second or two each time. But it was enough to be annoying and snap me out of my focus each time it’d get stuck. I hope it doesn’t get worse. Hopefully it’ll work itself out. I’m not sure if I should add a lubricant. Another reviewer mentioned something about a motherboard. So probably not a good idea to introduce a lubricant.

Works pretty good.

This is actually my second Kebtek extension pole. The first one was damaged in shipment and was quickly replaced. The extension pole works as described. My only complaint is the tool plus extension pole is somewhat heavy when the pole is extended and used overhead. I have other manual extension poles that I prefer when working high overhead. I do like using this extension pole when working on low shrubs that require me to normally crawl under for lower leaf trimming.

This Keptek extension pole works perfectly! It is very well made, sturdy and easy to mount the shear head and the battery. Highly recommend this product if you need an extension pole for your Keptek pruning shears!!!

This unit allows you to extend the reach of your Kebtek pruning shears Worked for my application, not as heavy duty as the actual Kebtek Pruning shears which are awesome

It didn’t fit my product
