Paired with my KVM, HDMI switch and Raspberry Pi 5 I can switch the keyboard to the kvm and then select between my work PC and my M4 Pro Mac or switch to the Pi and use it simultaneously with the same keyboard and mouse I use with the other two computer. Plus the HDMI switch lets me use the Pi along with one of the computers with video from both. It only takes a button press to swap the mouse and keyboard back and forth; the devices are available for use instantly-- much faster than switching computers with the KVM. Plus, it comes with 2 USB A-USB A cables and a USB C cable for power. I'd rather have one USB output on each side (left & tight) rather than in front, but front placement is not a problem for me. Four USB devices can be shared (swapped) between computers; they connect in the back.
