Dermalure Jessner Solution Acid Peel 14% 1oz. 30ml (Level 2 pH 1.9) - Exfoliating, Brightening, Improves Skin Texture and Tone - Face Peel - Facial-Alpha-Beta-Peels

The photos are after I tried it a second time, using two layers, waiting 5 minutes after the first. You can see a mild peeling and redness. I'm 38 with box pick scars, large pores, and uneven texture. The first time I tried it, I poured some in a glass bowl and using a cotton pad, I avoided the area under my nose and eyes since those are the most sensitive for me. I did only one layer. It stung as expected but it was bearable. I thought if I washed it off 5 minutes after I applied it, it would stop burning but it seemed to only make it worse or prolong it. Again, it was bearable. The stinging stopped about 5 minutes after I washed it. My face was mildly red but no real peeling. Waited a month. Did it again second time. Waited 5 minutes and applied another layer. After 15ish minutes total, washed it off, stinging still but stopped after a few more minutes. This time though the stinging was a little more bearable and as weird as this may sound, I enjoyed the stinging. It felt like it was penetrating my skin and actually potentially doing what it was supposed to. Like a nice "burning off" my skin. But pleasant. Anyways the photos are after the second attempt, there is some mild peeling but I want more. I'll continue the attempts, doing more layers with each attempt. There are some people here saying you're supposed to leave it on over night and not really washing it off. But someone says that the chemical reaction is really only good for ten minutes and that after ten minutes of the burning, there is no more ingredient to continue the reaction so it's a moot point to leave it on (or take off) after ten minutes. After I reach 5 layers, depending on the results, I may start trying leaving 1 layer overnight and so on.

BEWARE - THIS IS THE REAL DEAL AND THEN SOME! I have had many Jessner peels on my face and back at my dermatologist's office and considered myself knowledgeable in regards to peels. My pain threshold has peaked at a 2.75 for the Jessner in the past when received from a professional. Well this time I decided to train my husband to be the aesthetician and requested he do as many runs on myback as two bottles would allow. I believe we did four passes, each pass waiting for frosting in between, when I started to feel discomfort that concerned me. The pain kept increasing, even after we neutralized the peel with baking soda and water. (Maybe this solution does not neutralize this Jessner peel as it did not help with the burning one bit.) The pain became unbearable! I was on the bathroom floor crying as my husband went to the bodega to buy more baking soda as we kept applying it with water and rinsing. Relief finally came about a half hour later when I was put in the shower and just had the water run on my back for about 10 minutes. The half hour that we couldn't get the burning to stop was incredibly painful. I would honestly say I was at an 8.5. I was unable to even speak and simply shaking on the bathroom floor. I really want people to be careful with this peel! Ok, so that being said, I am thrilled with the results! Major peeling on my entire back. It is basically molting off in complete sheets. The skin underneath is going to be flawless! I will post some photos!

I had these done at a spa years ago and really liked it. Definitely look up a YouTube video for instructions and make sure you have the proper after care. Don't over moisturize your skin afterwards because it needs to peel. And no retinol or vitamin C serums until after its peeled. I made this mistake not thinking day 2 and ended up with a breakout shortly thereafter and the following day. FYI it doesn't peel the next day. Thats not how these work. Its day 3-5. You are signing up for a week of tight, itchy, peeling skin. And DO NOT help it along by pulling it off. You can create scars.

It's a jessners peel as stated, don't worry like I did it's not some off product or something it says it's not. I'm glad I bought it but there isnt much peeling. I feel there are better ones out there possibly. Expect redness for at least 3 days or if you are fair complected like I am up to 5. And the itchiness is real. My suggestion after I did this once and realized it doesn't peel much.... On my next try I used one layer of this and then a 15% tca from another brand over this and it worked Tons Better! So if you are looking for a good peel like I was this won't do it alone but paired with another product of tca it will most definitely work well.

***DO NOT buy this unless you want to PEEEEEEEL! I’ve done 30% salycilic and had some flaking and a 50% glycolic that only made my skin dry. I decided to give this one a go and FINALLY got a real peel! I did 3 passes all over and a 4th in my trouble areas. The application gives an intense burning but it’s not untolerable. I was immediately red & woke up with some dark spots the next morning. I’ll be honest, 3 days in I regretted it, swore I’d never do it again, and almost cried. After not having a “real peel” with other peel i didn’t expect to get such an intense peel. My face was really tight, cracking every time I opened my mouth to eat or laugh. Fast forward to 6 days in & I’m loving what I’m seeing. I still have at least 3 more days before I am completely done peeling but I can see new skin is absolutely perfect. No more huge pores, acne cleared, scars and wrinkles reduced. I would definitely recommend this peel as long as you have at least 7 days to recover (unless you don’t mind going in public while peeling).

the first time I purchased this, it was a very effective product and actually worked removing dark spots and softening lines and wrinkles. the PH was perfect because you could feel it working on the first application. the second bottle did nothing. in fact, this bottle had NO PH factor on the bottle label at all. this is important because that factor needs to be low enough to penetrate BELOW the normal PH of the skin which is approximately 5.5 PH. I put 3 passes on my face, left for 30 minutes and it did nothing. the original that actually did have the PH factor on the bottle, took one pass and I could not leave on longer than 1 1/2 minutes. this is no longer the product it is claimed to be. also different from the first bottle, this over-priced placebo actually emits a Gas upon opening that literally reaks havoc upon your respiratory system. I could not breathe from the fumes that were expelled upon opening. I had to leave the area and move away from the bottle before I could do anything. had i used this sooner, i defintely would have returned it. and the only reason i repurchased it was because it worked so well the first time.

Received this timely. Applied it with a Q-tip to some of the brown age/sunspots on my face. Should have read the directions. Left it on for I don’t know 15 minutes then took a shower. I had to shower. I might’ve left it on. It really really darkened the spots on my face like they are dark dark purple now And will probably take some time to slough off so I’m having a difficult time covering them with Makeup. I don’t know what I was thinking. I just did not expect the product to be as strong as it is. I am grateful to have access to this because laser has not worked for me. I’ve gone , at least three times and I swear it’s a scam they must not have a strong enough laser so I’m hoping that overtime this will work but probably won’t do it anytime soon because my son has an engagement party coming up and I don’t wanna have a polkadot face. But I am happy that it is a strong product just be warned and be careful using it.
