We do NOT grease the pan in any way and the muffins not only slide out like magic but they also get nice and browned which is not something we got with silicone. We ditched the muffin tin liners and the silicone cups and have not looked back. The only down side to this pan: I now want ALL my cookware to be ceramic. My friend has Caraway ceramic cookware. *sigh* A girl can dream... But I digress. Heavyweight, quality, no warping, no sticking, a breeze to clean, what is not to like about this muffin pan!

The instructions say to not use butter, margarine or nonstick spray and the muffins absolutely pop out with no sticking.
