Excellent stuff not only did it get rid of all the moss but it also disinfected my back yard . No more moss in two days . or doggy pee smells in the yard !

I hadn’t bought Jeyes Fluid for a number of years, but when I realised I could do with getting some for a number of jobs around the garden I was rather disappointed to see a tonne of reviews saying the manufacturer had radically altered the formula (presumably to meet new health and safety regulations). It supposedly is now clear rather than brown, lacks the signature ‘fragrance’ and doesn’t do the job as well as the old type did. Well, I got a tin of this simply because I needed something like it and hoped the new equivalent would be good enough. I’m happy to say that Jeyes has clearly worked out a way to make a version of the old stuff again, because this has the exact same colour and smell as I remember. Works brilliantly, with basically only a small capful required to do some tasks, like cleaning pots and seed trays. What a relief!

Good price point

This new updated version is better than the clear one they previous sold. I would say its not exactly like the original I grew up with that my parents used that had a strong tar smell but there is a similar weaker smell. Still better than any other disinfectants on the market.Only fault is how the hell can you get that cap off. Impossible for me. I decided to slide scissors in the gap where you press in and then cut off. Now opens perfectly.

Does the job

It does what it says on the can!!New low odour.Amazing cleaning power with relatively little effort.I’ve tried other but keeps coming back to Jeyes

Brilliant stuff and does the job well. So, why only 3 stars? Because the lid is impossible to get off. Did the company test this with people who suffer from arthritis, rheumatism or other joint issues or weak joint issues? I don’t think they did. I am a reasonably fit 71 year old with no such problems but even I gave up and resorted to driving a hole in the plastic lid. Not impressed.

This is the old-style formula which works very well as a cleaning solution with the added advantage of being a 'pest' deterrent.
