EXO-AT950 Shield

Broooooo, if you have an old 950 and it’s looking a bit trashy this visor will make it look amazing. My og visor was all just not good anymore. It was like it had gotten little scratches on it cuz it had seen too much sunny. I really don’t know how to describe it but I didn’t like it. I ordered this cuz it just looked cool. Ordered a clear one too but I haven’t used that yet. So I installed it on my crusty helmet and poof….frickin looked brand new. Rode to Walmart and some old bird was trying to take my helmet. Not really but she did say she wanted it. Shoulda let her smell the helmet. She woulda changed her mind. This helmet has seen some miles. Tonight I rode home at sunset. It was getting a little darker but I won’t say hard to see mostly because it looks so damn cool. When you install it…be sure to righted to screws on the helmet tight enough. Had one fall out and it almost ruined the ride but I found it on the road and fixed er up so I could finish the ride. Highly recommend this visor. Ps…..2000 XR650R, best frickin bike Honda ever made. What can I say? It’s a Scorpion shield on a Scorpion helmet. It works. Main reason I bought it was quick delivery!

Shipping wasn't super fast but it was acceptable. Shield is great. Fits just as tight as one that comes with shield. Looks great on helmet. With sun visor installed. It looks like a halo helmet. It is tinted. I would say the level of tint would be comparable to a Walmart level helmet visor. So yea ok price, great product. Really makes the at950 helmet look great

Fits just like the last one I bought and is a great replacement when bug splatter, dust, etc wear out your old one.

This instantly makes my AT-950 look a lot better. Only concern was night time riding visibility. If you're riding in the city its not bad at all. It's only a bit restrictive when riding around areas that are absolutely pitch black like rural roads or the woods. For it being tinted and the look being what I primarily wanted - it works great without having to swap shields. I really only didn't give it a perfect 5 stars for two little details. Maybe I'm just nitpicking -- the first complaint just makes the second one harder to excuse I suppose. Well first off it's pricey. Yeah not chump change to me for essentially a piece of tinted clear plastic. I had noticed this shield months ago before I bought it. Took me a while to convince myself to fork over the cash. Not having unlimited funds does that. The second thing you'll notice is that for some reason they decided to mold a model name/number and warning right into the front of the shield. It's not huge but I dont understand why it's there if the original clear shield is sans stupid stamped letters. Well there it is, get it if you really want to give your AT-950 a face lift. Next helmet you purchase, check out the prices on replacement shields. I know I will but because I do love my AT-950 I might just write Scorpion an angry email, get no reply and still continue to buy their products.

After having the silver shield for 1 year figured I come back and review it. I've got roughly 6-8k miles with it and less than 3 nicks from rocks/road debris that are all about the size of a pen tip (~1mm). There is some wear marks on the sides from lift/closing but you can't see it from inside. I usually use microfiber towels to clean the bugs and so far, no scratches. It's a great shield for the beating SoCal Sun, but just a bit too dark for night riding, so I swapped back to my clear shield from Nov-Mar.

I was a bit skeptical initially to purchase this due to how dark the tint appeared. After trying it for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised at how much visibility there is in low light conditions. I am thoroughly satisfied. I am riding in suburban areas, with moderate street lights.

Encontré de pura casualidad en Amazon esta mica para el casco Scorpion AT-950 y el precio estaba excelente y no lo pensé mucho y la compre, me llego rapidísimo, de inmediato se la instale a mi casco y wow quedo a la perfección, sin ningún pero, no se empaña, no tiene fuga de aire, sella a la perfección, le da otra vista al casco se ve espectacular todo negro, la verdad super contento, la recomiendo ampliamente
