Life. Changing.
Doctors orders: find more supportive underwear to eliminate scrotal pain. So after days of searching and comparing I came across Separatec. Dual-pouch? Interesting. Good reviews, reasonable prices. What the heck, I'll give them a try. I have a really hard time with sizing when buying underwear. I'm a pretty small guy but a majority of the time small's are a tad too small and medium's are way too big. So after stressing about that, I decided on small's based on a few reviews that said they ran larger than other brands. The day of arrival I had to give them a quick try-on before throwing them in the wash. Pulled them on to about waist height as instructed, inserted Richard in the hole, and the boys fell right into place in their own pouch. My life changed at that very moment. I have never felt more comfortable in underwear. Ever. Period. Why have I been wearing mostly store-bought brands and where have these been all my life!? I feel really good in these. They really emphasize the manhood and no man of average size should ever be complaining about that. The sizing is perfect for my 30" inch waist. The fabric is soft, comfortable, and breathable. The quick-dry one's are a sort of mesh material and I wanted to try those for workouts (Which actually went great. Minimal ride up and plenty of support for the boys while running.) Washing and care is easy. Don't bleach, duh. Always wash in cold water and I do not put these in the dryer at all. Just hang dry them. They're quick-dry after all. I thought the separate pouch situation and putting Richard in through a hole would be slightly uncomfortable and take some getting used to at first but hasn't bothered me at all from day one. What is taking some getting used to though is the fly. Although I'm not sure you would call it a fly as it's more of a pouch to pull back to drain the vein. No complaints, I've just never been one to pull through a pouch and always just pulled the waist band down. I found myself doing this out of habit a few times already. Having that little pouch to just pull back is amazing and you don't have to worry about realigning Richard and looking awkward trying to stick him through a hole in your underpants at the urinal. A few reviewers have mentioned that their Johnson has pulled itself back out of the hole when sitting and in other situations. If you're wearing your correct size and your member doesn't suck itself into your body, I don't see how this is even possible. Other reviewers have mentioned you need to be "well-endowed" for these to work for you. Nope. False. I'm a grower, not a shower and I'm average sized at best. The mini me hasn't pulled himself out of the hole once. I could see a problem with being too large for these and possibly falling out of the front pouch. Maybe they'll eventually release a Johnson size-specific underwear beyond just the normal small, medium, large, etc sizes. For now, these work great for a majority of men that aren't hung like a horse. I've also read that a few people have had their boys end up through the hole with Richard. I'm 99% sure that's never going to happen to me. That hole is definitely only big enough for the member. Ride-up has been pretty bad some days at work. I do a lot of ladders, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, sitting, and scooting all day long. I find myself pulling one or both legs back down. This is normal for me while wearing boxer briefs at work as I'm normally wearing briefs on workdays. That being said, I've never experienced ride-up outside of work. So to remedy this, I've ordered a 3 pack of Separatec briefs to try out while working. I'll write a separate review for those eventually. Lastly, scrotal issues have improved immensely in the week I've been wearing these. The pouch for the boys is super supportive in a way that words can't describe. In review: If the dual-pouch sounds weird to you. It really isn't. If you're hesitant about sizing, don't be. Order your size according to the size chart. If they don't fit, I hear they're super easy to return or exchange. If you're hung like a horse, these may not be for you. Otherwise, your member will sit and stay in place just fine if you're wearing the correct size. They're comfortable and the fabric feels fantastic. Your life may be changed the moment you try these on. So give them a try. Just order them. Go ahead, pull the trigger.

Great for backpacking
I purchased these for backpacking. I needed something to help stop chaffing and keep me drier. These have worked well. So far I have hiked just over 100 miles in 80-90 degree temperatures. They stay pretty dry, dry extremely fast, and my issues have ceased. The separation these create is really nice. There is less contact and friction. This also reduces itch that sometimes occurs. I really like the way things are pulled up front. It gives me more area, freedom of movement, and keeps me cooler. Unlike some, they never felt odd to me. From the start they felt great. How you wear them makes a difference though. I found I have to pull the legs up some from the center to allow more room in the lower pouch. It also puts more material between my legs and other parts. I do recommend these Separatec boxers if you need an good sports underwear.

Nice quality and comfortable
I bought these to use at the gym for compression shorts. However I use them as underwear too. They worked well for the most part. The only adjustment I had to make was when I did shoulder to knee touches flat on my back. They were great while running at highspeed. Absolutely no chafing. They do fit tight like I wanted them to, but the material is very soft and "grippy". I got the M and am a solid 33" inch waist. There is also more room in the upper pouch than the other separate. So, if your package is medium to large it works well. I purchased the 2 pack and might order more. Update: 10-5-19. Have to take a star off. Over time I noticed a vertical sewn seam down the middle of the pouch. This at times has created a bit of discomfort to my member. It could easily be fixed. There doesn't seem to be a need for it. I have other pouched underwear with no seam through the middle of it. In winter weather, I wear them as I would normal underwear. You want to be as warm as possible and separation is not needed

Almost perfect!
I would definitely recommend these! I bought the Separatec Men's Underwear Dual Pouch Sport Quick Dry Boxer Briefs 3 Pack and they are great. I was a little skeptical when I first opened the package and looked them over I didn't think things would fit very well but to my surprise everything seems to just settle in to position and it stays there don't even have to worry about re-positioning the furniture around like I have to with a lot of other types of underwear the legs ride up but that happens with almost any boxerbrief. With that being said they don't provide a ton of support like a jockstrap but honestly in a way that is kind of the appeal of these it almost feels like you're wearing nothing at all and they keep your junk dry and aired out while providing some minimal support. I have exercised in these and have been mountain biking in these and they were quite comfortable I think they are going to be my go to for mountain biking this summer during the hot months. If I could change a couple things about these it would be the rise of the waist band and leg length. I prefer more of a low rise waist style and I would make the legs shorter similar to a trunk boxer-brief style. Other than that these are perfect I love how anatomically correct they are and I love the polyamide material.

Comfortable, supportive, breathable, and unique
I've been aware of Separatec underwear for a little while, but didn't purchase any until I found a good deal, but, boy, I'm glad I did. They are highly comfortable, with a supportive pouch for the testicles and a snug, athletic fit. The breathable material is excellent, keeping me cool and dry on hot days, and the longer length both provides additional support and keeps the legs from riding up. Separtec's most unique feature is indeed a special one; separating the penis from the testicles helps keep things cooler and drier. It does take a little getting-used-to initially, but even after just a few minutes of wearing, the underwear "disappears," and everything feels right as rain. Although these are considered athletic underwear, I'd recommend them only for light athletics, as they do not provide much compression for more intense workouts and activities. My only gripe is that I wish they were offered in more colors, but the dark blue/gray motif looks nice. Overall, I'm very happy with this underwear, and can't recommend them enough.

Comfortable
I wear a size 36 pants, and the Large fits very comfortably without any bunching or pinching. I could see choosing a Medium to have more of a compression garment fit. Me and my wife love hiking, and I have tried many different remedies for chafing. Separatec boxer briefs have been a lifesaver for me. These work a million times better than any chafing lotions, creams, or compression garments I’ve tried. As a former bodybuilder, I have a lot of contact at my upper thighs… and my boys sometimes join in on the fight during longer hikes. The double pockets on these boxers allow cross ventilation, as well as, eliminating the additional contact/perspiration issues sometimes plaguing us larger-legged individuals. Due to the all day comfort these have provided, I’m planning to try some of the other Separatec versions, and eventually replace all of my briefs with Separatec. I have 2 sets of the 'Separatec Men’s 3 Pack Quick Dry Boxer Briefs Breathable 2 Pouches', in Large, and now I have 2 sets of these 'Separatec Men's Athletic Fast Dry Cool Mesh 9.5 Inches Boxer Briefs Dual Pouch Underwear 2 Pack', in Large. The 3 pack has a length ~7.5", and aren't quite as resistant to movement as the 9.5" pairs. Separatec boxer briefs also help me achieve greater modesty when wearing dress pants. I usually wear the 7.5" pairs for general activities, however, these 9.5" pairs are the ones I wear most frequently.

The Bone Ranger can finally breath and the Klackers love their new hammock!
I was shopping around for yet another pack of my usual 100% cotton underwear. I prefer boxer briefs because they just feel better when I'm active and eliminate any chafing. But lately, I caught The Three Amigos battling over territory when working outside in the hot sun. It was clear the Happy Sack Brothers were no longer happy and Tiny Tim could use some privacy. Not sure how I came across these, but Billy Bob and the Twins were captivated by their individualism. After opening the package, like a young boy getting his first Penthouse, I was so excited to get my junk inside them. Like a pair of silky soft panties, these were going to be a real treat for Bobby and The Bangers. Besides the sheer silky feeling, I was looking forward to freeing the Trouser Monkey a bit. I ordered the Large for my 37" waist thinking they wouldn't bind up along my waist. What I found though was that Junior is quite active during the day and likes to play indoors and outdoors, especially if I sit or bend down. I noticed that if I pulled up the underwear (higher than I would normally wear them) and fold down the waist band just once, it held Action Jackson in his place. The Family Jewels feel safe, comfortable and cool. These were my first pair of Separatec underwear and I've already purchased another material in Medium to gratify my love spuds and pork sword.

Doesn’t meet my standards for this company
This is my second pack from this company. The first (different model) was the best underwear I had ever owned, so naturally I had high expectations for this one as well. When I put them on, they felt great, in many ways better than the first pack. Stretch, flexibility, comfort, and its ability to retain its shape were all some of the best I’ve ever experienced. All but comfort it was better than the first, for a reason that I will now explain. After some time I noticed an issue that I didn’t experience with the other pack, my shaft would constantly come out whenever I sat down or had my legs come up in a similar position. It seems that the hole is too high for me. This model had a distance between the waist band and the bottom of the hole of 3.5 inches (about 9cm), while my first pack had a distance of 4.5 inches (11.5 cm). For some, this might be fixed by simply wearing your underwear lower, but for me, this created two issues. The lowest I can wear my underwear without it naturally sliding up is roughly 4-4.5 inches (right on my waist). The second issue was that wearing it that low caused my berries to begin sticking to my legs like normal underwear, defeating the entire purpose of the pouch for them. So I stopped trying to get my shaft in the hole and just wore them like normal underwear. Like that, they are still the second most comfortable underwear I’ve ever worn, and if advertised as such they would be 5 stars for me. But the fact that there’s an entire second pouch that I’m supposed to be able to use, but can’t due to a design that simply fits me poorly, I can’t say that this is more than 3 for me.

Can't wear all day
This product is good to wear when you are very active, either doing physical labour outside or inside. They are not very comfortable to wear when relaxing or taking it easy in the evening. They are just too restrictive. I find I have to change into something more comfortable and cotton based after working all day. Would not buy them again.
