It seems a bit gimmicky at first glance and I was worried it might not work, but it actually does. I used this to clean my 3rd floor 100 year old windows and outer storm windows. It would have been basically impossible to clean without this tool. My only complaint is that the squeegee part sometimes started to come out of place when I was in the middle of washing a window but it didn't happen enough to be really annoying. Another thing that I didn't think about but seems obvious now, is that the design of this makes it so you'll always have to clean a little triangle sized bit of wet window on the back.
