I bought these bars because they were rated as tasting good. They're OK but they aren't as hazelnut flavored as I was hoping for. Also, these bars contain maltitol for sweetening, which is an alcohol sugar that can cause gassiness. Which explains my discomfort later in the day after eating one of these protein bars. Finally, maltitol is also called xylitol which is deadly to dogs because it causes a sharp decline in their blood sugar and has been know to result in the death of dogs which have eaten xylitol. I bought an entire box of these bars and am sorry I did because it will be a long time before I will want to deal with the after effects of eating them!

These protein bars are an absolute delight in terms of flavor–rich, satisfying, and without that typical protein aftertaste. However, I was a bit disappointed to find them melted upon arrival. Once refrigerated, they regained some of their original texture, but it's something to consider if you're looking for convenience right out of the package. Still, taste-wise, they're among the best I've tried. I would definitely buy it again, but perhaps not during the warmer months.

Similar to another customer, I ordered these bars but instead I received the vegan ones. They are not very good, have less protein, and more calories than the regular. I asked the sender about getting the bars I ordered and they said they were out of stock so they just sent me the vegan variety. I eventually was able to get a full refund but I'd like to try the regular hazelnut bars when they're in stock. I wouldn't trust ordering from this Amazon seller though.

Flavor is genuinely delicious — I’ve ordered this product before from a different vendor and loved it. But I’m leaving 1 star because this order was expired. The expiration date was July 2025, and it’s December now. My husband and I both ate it the same day and got sick. Selling expired food is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable.

these are the protein bar equivalent of flourless chocolate cake. softer than a tootsie roll but firmer than pudding. the hazelnut (nutella) tastes incredible! have tried others by this company. definitely been good, but not at all like what they claim to be. eg. the caramel/cashew, white choc/almond flavors don't taste remotely like cashews or white choc. nonetheless, these protein bars still taste much better than average. and certainly they had to identify/differentiate the bars somehow. hope people buy em a lot, so they keep selling this stuff.
