Crin strikes again
Being a Crinacle collab, sound quality is the first thing to talk about. The tuning and tone is interesting. I'm getting pretty warm bass and there's plenty of it. I did noticed a slight lack of low end resolution on some songs, but I'm comparing these to IEMs that are 2-3x the price. The fact that I have to use those to compare says a lot.Mids are slightly pulled back but not veiled at all. Plenty of detail in vocals and instruments in this range.Treble is forward, but not shouty or sibilant. Good control with a little bit of sparkle. Just enough to make things exciting.Soundstage is fine for an IEM, either average or slightly above average compared to other closed back IEMs, but that's not really saying a whole lot. On the other hand, imaging is quite good and there's also fantastic separation between instruments. That's more important for an IEM anyway. These are v-shaped so I wouldn't use them for any analytical listening or mixing, but the tuning is quite entertaining for enjoying music. Obviously, anything synthesized sounds great, but I don't think the mids are so pulled back that they make genres like classical or jazz sound unnatural. Now onto the non SQ things. I'm not sure who the bass boost adapter is for, as these have more than enough low end response, but who's gonna dock points for something that's included? It's there if you want it. The cable itself is mostly fine. It's a pretty standard twisted pair cable with good thickness. Out of the box, I think I'll have to mess around with the ear loops a decent amount to get it to fit around my ears properly. They're light enough to where this doesn't cause any discomfort, it just annoys me that they're not fitting as well as my other sets. Some heat and bending would do the trick. The housings are pretty chunky, but again these are pretty light so I didn't find it uncomfortable or bothersome. As with any headphones/IEMs, your YMMV when it comes to comfort and fit.I bought at launch for around $70 and these are worth the blind buy. I think they punch at a level of least double that price.

Worth the blind buy!
Worth a blind buy!Iems I've used for reference:Truthear Zero, Truthear Zero Reds, Moondrop Chu, Moondrop Chu II, Moondrop Aria, Tangzu Wan er, Kiwiears Cadenza, and 7hz Zero.Bass: These have very warm punchy bass yet doesnt create an overly muddy sound. I'd say kicks and 808's sound very smooth.Mids: though a tad pushed back, clairity is there.Highs: It's a bit subtle but it definitely has a bit of sparkle. I find this tuning incredibly safe for my ears as it doesnt give an overly sparkley sound.Soundstage: reasonably wide, instrument separation is great.General review: I love the sound of the updated blue 2s. Bought it shortly after watching crinacles uploaded video the day of. I have NO regrets. Sounds incredibly smooth, warm, and very punchy. With acoustic drums and bass and with digital 808s and kicks they shine. Absolute incredible value for its preformance.

Truthear Blue 2
Overall, pleased with my purchase. I'm new to the IEM world but I have been playing games for some time now. And during a late night search for budget gaming headphones, I found these IEM's and they are great. Not the most budget friendly option. But I can say you get a lot of quality items for the price which is nice. I'm still working on finding the best fit and way to use them on my gaming PC. But so far they are great. The build quality of the IEM is great and overall I think these will be far better then most budget headsets. Either way, forget headsets and try IEM's you will be surprised !

Impressive Sound for the Price, With a Few Quirks
The Zero:BLUE2 is a solid follow-up that mostly delivers on its promise of high-fidelity sound in a budget-friendly package. Tuning is clearly Crinacle-inspired—neutral with a slight emphasis on clarity, and it works really well across genres.Pros:Balanced tuning with excellent clarity and separation, especially in the mids and treble. The dual dynamic drivers provide nice layering and avoid muddiness, even in complex tracks.Detachable cable is a huge plus at this price point—easy to upgrade or replace.Build quality is great for the price, and the design looks sleek without being over-the-top.Cons:Bass is tight and controlled, but lacks a bit of sub-bass extension—bassheads might find it a bit too polite.Fit might be hit-or-miss depending on your ears. I had to experiment with tips to get a proper seal.Cable is decent but nothing special—definitely swappable if you're picky.Another slight nitpick is that at night the blue design looks black.Overall, this is a great set for anyone who values tonal balance and detail. It punches well above its price class, especially for critical listening. A few minor gripes hold it back from a perfect score, but it's a no-brainer recommendation in its range.

Top tier for the price
Sounds amazing for the price and imo the best for it's price. I have the Shure SE215 that are $99, and I prefer the Zero 2 over them. A major plus for myself is the ear hook that goes behind your ear. It has a very light feel to it and almost feels like it isn't there compared to Shure's. The only con I can think of, and it isn't a big one, is that the volume is low on the Zero 2. You'll need to up your volume on whatever you're using it on, but it doesn't hurt the sound quality. Bass as well is very good, very deep, crisp, and punchy.

Quality over everything
These are the first IEMs I've tried and I was blown away honestly. For the price, these are unbelievable. They sound better than Apple AirPod Pros 2 for sure. And you get the bass boost cable option which is a great addition. Cannot recommend these enough for those who want a superior audio experience without breaking the bank on headphones. Amazing. You will not regret buying these.
