I got this for Rs.8000 on an offer and for this price this is a great hard disk.It requires external power and works in India power rating. Has 5 removable plugs for different power sockets types and out of 5, 2 are standard Indian 2 pin plugs (low and raised).The box contains a 1 meter length standard male USB 3.0 cable and power plug with different country adapters and the hard disk itself.Has vents on 3 sides and can be kept vertical or flat. Has 2 USB slots on the front for USB drives for quick copy of contents from hard disk. 1 USB slot in the back for connecting hard disk to you PC or another cloud hard disk or Xbox etc.Size is not too huge as some review said, think it as a regular internal hard disk encapsulated in a bigger airy compartment, this is required so the heat generated can escape better and can keep the hard disk running for long duration. The length is equal to Mi Pad 1 if you need to compare, 20cm L x 12cm B x 4cm H.Setup is a breeze, just plugin. Once connected 3.7TB will be available based on the default format.Write speeds on USB 3 is around 70-90 Mbps and read/copy speeds are around 140-180Mbps. Depends on the size of the file written/read and how full the hard disk. But don't worry this too much, USB 3.0 and this hard disk is really good.You will find a folder which has a file containing links and code for registration of warranty.I use this 4TB Seagate external hard disk as a backup for my WDMyCloud 2TB model (in wdmycloud you can use scheduled backup to another hard disk). Since it's a plug n play you can use it for any purpose with ease.Comes with 2 month adobe cloud membership, details will be available within a directory in the hard disk.There was also an offer from for 1 year 1 pc Kaspersky Antivirus (just Rs.289 on offer) and for that i need to give full name, mobile number, govt proof and invoice, so i didn't go with that offer

The price point at which amazon is selling this product is completely a steal and truly value for money. The Hub is quite sturdy and has a nice overall design. And by looking around in the storage hungry era where data is all around us in the forms of music, videos, movies, games and what not. 4TB is enough storage to handle such big chunks of data plus the cloud connectivity makes this a top of the line product.The only con I find in this product is that it's not that portable like the other pocket friendly external hard drives. Other than that this product is an excellent buying option if you're looking out for one.

I have a completely wired Ethernet system at home and this product has helped me expand my multimedia library on 2 counts - firstly it takes up only one USB port on my Dell XPS 15 - secondly it also behaves as a USB 3.0 hub for other peripherals. I have two of these now. One connected to my PC as a NAS for my Plex library and the other to my Xbox One X as a native game drive. Overall I’m very happy with the performance and would recommend this product for its value for money and flexibility.

Very nice Product

When I started transferring the data on 3.0 USB port, the average read speed was just around 25 mb/s and write speed was around 35 mb/s .As per the Seller,videos and other reviews,both the speeds should be atleast around 75-80 mb/s but its far beyond that in my case.I am using highly very high configuration laptop and PC so I wonder why I am getting such low speeds.Else, its having a nice look and I got it delivered in 24 hours.Storage is 3.63 TB which is very good.I bought it in Prime Day Sale so bought it at quite a cheaper price.I dont recommend it buying it unless there's an Sale or reduction in price of INR 8500

1st let me clear one thing it's not for them who want to carry it everyday in their bag. It's portable but in a different manner. Like if you are shifting other place but you carry your laptop instead of your pc then you can carry this hard drive with you and set up with your laptop and it's all good. That's how you can carry your all big media file anywhere.Now let's talk about this drive. The package comes with the drive, an usb cable to connect your drive to your pc/laptop, a power cable with 3 types of socket, which is great in my opinion. This drive is super easy to connect with both windows, mac and Ubuntu. Best part is you don't have to format it. I have a pc with windows 10 and Ubuntu dual boot and a macbook so it's very useful for me. The drive comes with some Seagate backup, recovery software but I don't use them. I mainly use this as a storage drive, all my media files goes in this drive. Many have talked about read/write speed. So I'm not repeating it. Bt speed is okay for me, with 25-28mbps write speed in usb 2.0 and 75-80mbps in usb 3.0So who should buy this?If you a person who does't need to carry their external drive everyday but you need a drive for storage purpose and if you travel sometime for longer time then my friend it is for you.

Hard disk is not turning on!Seagate Customer support told me that they can't help as it's out of warranty! This is surprising, how can Amazon allow delivery of Out-of-Warranty product!Please initiate the return.

The media could not be loaded. 5 STAR Product, No doubt - Congrats! Reliability can be assessed after a period of usage. Over all a good product, which is reasonable in size & weight. The design & Make stands up to Seagate quality, for Sure!!The Unique 2 Ports HUB is very useful and works with, again reasonable (affordable speed). The Product Power source is light weight and looks OK (Mains side different countries' adapters are made available by Seagate).So far working Fine & satisfied.Actual Physical size is 20Cm X 12 Cm X 4 Cm (+/- 2 mm). The Data cable is 1 metre and is from Micro USB 3 male to USB 3 Male.Highly recommended. (Incidentally, formatting is NOT needed now)
