Reuzel Severed Head Matt Clay Pomade, Workable Hold With Added Definition And Texture 3.38oz/95g

Brilliant product. I've had many of the Reuzel water-based products and I really like most of them (Extreme Hold, Fiber, Concrete, Blue Pomade, Grooming Tonic). My go-to was always the Extereme Hold Matte Pomade (grey tin) however I was looking for something that was a little drier, as I find the EHMP application and finish a little greasier/waxier, even for a water-based pomade. Ironically, I have found most of the Reuzel water-based pomades a to have a waxy feel and finish. Reuzel Severed Head pomade is a perfect cocktail of easy to apply, dry product, strong hold, no shine, re-styleability (it doesn't set) and washes out easily. You could use it as a pre-styler to wet hair and blow dry a style, or as a pomade to finish your style. This is absolutely not a waxy, greasy product that I found with some of the others in the Reuzel water-based line up...none of the others I tried could be used as a pre-styler. I personally pre-style with the Reuzel grooming tonic and then finish with the Severed Head, and the look is just what I'm after - a hairstyle that looks styled but not over-styled. For me this is a 'goldilocks' (just right) product so it will be replacing my EHMP for now.

No greasiness, no stiffness, just perfectly styled hair that looks effortlessly cool. And the ingredients! Argan oil and aloe? My hair is practically doing a happy dance. It feels nourished, not dried out, and it washes out easily at the end of the day. No residue, no fuss. Seriously, this pomade has changed my hair game. It's given me the confidence to actually style my hair, instead of just trying to tame it. If you're looking for a product that delivers on its promises, gives you a strong hold without the helmet head, and leaves your hair feeling healthy, look no further. Five out of five severed heads (in the best possible way!).
