Glitter Lipstick, Blue

I bought this to replace an old tube of the same colour, the formula and fragrance have been much improved. It's creamier and not as drying as the older version (which i loved enough to buy again anyway!) and the tubes now come sealed with a sticker so you know it's not been tested. This is as other reviews mention a pastel lilac lipstick rather than a violet but do not let that put you off, it's a stark, unusual and very pretty shade. Bright and not too cold without leaning pink at all. The colour is opaque and the silver glitter is small and eye catching, it feels a little rough as you apply but is not noticable once on. I like to blend it with pinks towards the centre of my lips for an interesting ombre effect more than wearing it alone. :) It's worth applying it on your hand a couple of times before putting on lips, it takes a few swipes to reach the colour, there is some sort of wax/oil layer on the outside which prevents the first couple of strokes having any colour (all of the stargazer lipsticks i have had were like this.)

I ended up purchasing this glitter lipstick elsewhere since the seller was unable to send the product to me (but the customer service I received was excellent, I was informed quickly & politely that they were unable to supply it & an alternative was offered, then a refund given within hours of my response). Onto the product: I use this lipstick on my lips, where it gives good glitzy coverage & is not remotely scratchy, lasting a couple of hours at least. I also use it pretty much daily as a subtle body glitter highlight above my eyelids. It is brilliant to add a pop of sparkle to my face & body because it adheres well & does not cause any skin sensitivity reaction. This silver one is good for this purpose compared to the coloured Stargazer glitter lipsticks for such a use since it is in a non-pigmented base, so just the glitter is seen after application. Been using it for several months now, & there's tons of product left, I anticipate it shall last a good long time. Excellent for the price especially, & very portable, just slips into my pocket for a top-up of glitz on a night out.

Yes you need to apply a couple of layers for it to stand out but personally I really like it, very sparkly and stands out nicely against the black lipstick. Much better than the Rita ora Rimmel back in black lipgloss. My go to lippy.

Sad to give such a poor review but seriously isnt worth buying. I expected it to be a translucent colour and wanted just at least a glittery top coat to go over another green lipstick, but not only is there nearly no colour to the lipstick, the glitter pay off is poor... i literally had to scrape it across my lips to get any glitter or colour, i tried warming it up a little and it remained abrasive and disappointing. When I swatched it on my hand it was at least a little more glittery, and i think maybe, MAYBE, you could use this as a glitter body stick? But my lips hurt from applying it and i don't know it applying it anywhere else would really be worth it. Better off using a light gloss and loose glitter if you want a really good look. Rubbing it on the tip of my finger and applying it like that had a slightly better affect but the glitter didn't disperse very well. Sorry, but it goes on like kids make up and my lips need moisturising lots now!

Not really silver at all, just a transparent sheen with a few sparkles in.

I was a bit reluctant to buy this for my daughter, but she tried it and it looks fantastic! Easy to apply and gives a striking finish. This is her favourite make up brand.

Not very gold the glitter does not really come off or show will it is mostly clear I am disappointed.

i havd brought 2 of them one for myself and and for a friend as soon as I got it out of my mail box I tried it on it was nothing like I was expecting I could not even tell I had lipstick on only thing showed was the glitter I gave it to my neice to play dress up in
