Cync GE Dynamic Effects Smart Cafe Lights, Color Changing Patio String Lights, Compatible with Alexa and Google, 48ft

Very nice light set. Looks great in my gazebo, bulbs are plastic not glass but they seem to be very well made. A bunch of colors and display modes. I would recommend

Super easy to set up. The bulbs are bigger than they look in the pics which is really nice too. They’re plastic and not glass which I also appreciate. I use my Cync for other lights in my house so I’m familiar with the brand. The color customization is awesome too. Lots of different things you can do.

The media could not be loaded. These lights are awesome! They work very well. The only reason they lost a star from me is they are kind of complicated to set up. I really dislike the app that ties them with the other "smart" lights in my home. I may just be another "dumb Millennial" but its just not user friendly in my opinion and I can't seem to get them to just come on at a certain time and then turn off at a certain time. That being said, they have so many cool effects, colors, brightness levels and even programmable light shows. Durable! The clips will hold up, even through a couple storms so far now. Very cool!

Love the lights. You can program them a multitude of colors and patterns.

These smart Café, color changing lights are the ultimate, luxury lightbulbs for any occasion or setting that you choose to use them in! I have to say that I am not that electronically savvy, and all the applications that these do are way over my head for right now, but I’m the type of person that likes to be able to change the lights, color, settings, for the mood and the atmosphere of the evening and with these lights, you can do that, but when I say do that you have 100 million choices :-) so if I’m having a dinner party outside, I’ll set my lights to a lower setting, or color setting according to how I’m having the table set and everything else around and these lights, you definitely can change whatever color you want to, the depth of the lighting, if you want to fade mode, if you want to change colors now and then, get the picture? You can even talk through Alexa to change the lights, which I haven’t got that all quite set up yet, but I’m happy with just setting it one time for the evening according to the mood and letting it do its thing. This is the feature that I like about it, like I said I’m not too tech savvy so it takes me a while. And with these lights and so many functions that it has, it’s going to take me a while to figure out how to just go between one setting to another by using Alexa. Other than that, they are great! at Christmas time, I can see we’re having the Christmas setting on and whatever you want it to be would be great, and also a solid color for a nice outdoor evening fire pits, relaxation, wine, drinking session. So so many choices. This is the ultimate light set for any mood, any disco party you want, any quiet, romantic evening, setting, a teenage kids party whatever they’ve got all the options you ever need. And the lights are beautiful, nice and durable, they are a plastic bulb so they’re not going to get broken. The brightness can be adjusted to however bright you want or dim you want that’s another function of the lights. And like I said 1 million colors! Have fun with them if you have teenagers I’m sure they’re gonna go nuts over them and they probably can just whiz through all the set ups for all the different things that it takes older people time to take in. I give them an A+. You won’t be disappointed and they’re a very long string, but you can string more together if you need The. Super lights cream of the crop!

Instructions were not in touch with the reality of getting these to work especially when adding multiple strings together. Also ability to pick up a wifi signal that was strong enough for other less expensive lights is very disappointing as I cannot customize the bulbs. Brightness looks good though.

I recently had the chance to try out the Cync GE Dynamic Effects Smart Cafe Lights, and I must say, these are hands down some of the coolest and most versatile outdoor lights I've ever used. From the moment I set them up, I was impressed by their high quality, ease of installation, and ability to transform my outdoor space into a vibrant, well-lit area perfect for any occasion. The lights come in a 48-foot strand, which is ideal for illuminating a sizable area. The string itself is sturdy and well-made, with durable bulbs that feel solid and built to last. They are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, so you don’t have to worry about them being damaged by the elements. They also have a weatherproof rating, making them suitable for year-round use in different weather conditions, which is a huge plus for anyone looking for long-lasting outdoor lighting.Setting up the lights was a breeze. I simply hung them around my patio, plugged them in, and connected them to the Cync app. The app interface is user-friendly, and within minutes, I had my lights connected to both Alexa and Google, enabling voice control for convenience. The ability to control the lights with voice commands is one of my favorite features. I can turn them on, change the colors, and adjust the brightness—all without lifting a finger. One of the standout features of these lights is their dynamic color-changing capabilities. The lights offer a wide range of colors that you can customize to suit any mood, event, or holiday. Whether you're hosting a summer barbecue, decorating for Christmas, or just want some ambient lighting for a relaxing evening, these lights have got you covered. The colors are vibrant and bright, and they don’t fade, providing a beautiful and consistent glow. You can either select a solid color or choose from several preset light modes, including color transitions and effects, to create different atmospheres. The integration with Alexa and Google is seamless. I’ve connected these lights to both my Amazon Echo and Google Nest, and I can control them easily with simple voice commands. It’s incredibly convenient, especially when hosting guests or when I want to adjust the lighting without leaving my seat. The voice control even allows me to set schedules and routines, so I can automate the lights to turn on and off at specific times. The brightness of these lights is impressive. They provide ample light for my patio, making it the perfect place to gather with friends and family. The string of lights has a soft yet bright glow that creates a cozy and inviting ambiance. Whether you’re looking for subtle lighting to set the mood or brighter light for evening activities, you can adjust the brightness levels to match your needs. The app allows you to customize the brightness easily, and you can dim the lights without sacrificing their vibrant colors.Another feature that I love is the ability to create lighting scenes. In the app, you can save your favorite color combinations and effects, so you can easily access them with a tap. This makes it perfect for setting up lights for different occasions. Whether it’s a cozy night under the stars or an exciting party atmosphere, you can have your lights set up in a way that matches the vibe. What’s even cooler is that these lights can be synchronized with other smart devices in your home. If you already have other Cync or compatible smart devices, you can set the lights to react to changes in the environment. For instance, you could set them to change color based on the weather, time of day, or music you’re playing. This adds a whole new level of interactivity and fun to your outdoor space, especially for those who love technology and innovation. These lights are also a great addition to your home if you love hosting parties or outdoor gatherings. The ability to change the colors and adjust the brightness instantly makes it easy to create the perfect mood for any event. Whether you're hosting a casual outdoor dinner, a holiday gathering, or a lively summer party, these lights add a magical touch that will impress your guests. The variety of color options also allows you to decorate for specific holidays or celebrations, like setting the lights to red and green for Christmas or orange for Halloween. In addition to their performance, I also appreciate the design of the bulbs themselves. The cafe-style bulbs have a warm, vintage look that adds charm to any setting. They’re not too harsh on the eyes, providing a soft and pleasant light that enhances the ambiance rather than overpowering it. The bulbs are spaced evenly along the string, ensuring that the light is distributed uniformly, which is important for creating an even glow.Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the Cync GE Dynamic Effects Smart Cafe Lights. They are well-made, easy to set up, and offer a wide range of features that elevate any outdoor space. The color-changing options, smart integration with Alexa and Google, and customizable brightness settings make these lights incredibly versatile and fun to use. Whether you’re looking to brighten up your patio, add ambiance to your backyard, or create a lively atmosphere for a party, these lights deliver in every way. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of high-quality, smart outdoor lighting that can be easily customized to suit any occasion.
