When you order from Amazon, an email is sent which has a downloadable .pdf file of some basic training and nutrition information. None of the information is particularly revolutionary or groundbreaking, but neither is it bad information. In fact, although it is very basic information, it is GOOD basic information. Shown in the picture attached, tablet size is about on par with a fish oil tablet or an almond. It is not a small tablet, but it is also not huge. I have, over the years taken a LOT of tablets and capsules. These are not exceptionally different in size or shape than a hundred others. Maybe the closest thing I can think of is about the size of a Universal Nutrition Liver Tab. The bottle size is smaller than I expected. That is neither here nor there, as I am basing the review on other factors than the size of the bottle. But the size of the bottle is smaller than what is normally sized for a similar product. I am giving the product 5 stars for product presentation at this time. Edit - 12/30/2016 Okay, I am finalizing this review a bit early, but I don't see any reason to wait a full 30 days to do so. Pretty much everything I need to know about the BCAA tabs, I know already. First of all, some perspective on this product, and any other BCAA product out there, no matter what the quality. BCAA's are not performance enhancing drugs. They are not steroids or steroid like. They are not stimulants, or energy producing substances in any way that would be "felt", even subtly, in any reasonable dose. If you are expecting to "feel" these, you have false expectations. These are protein pills, at the heart of it. They are branched chain amino acids. They can be utilized for energy in the body, and they go towards anabolism, as well. Muscle building. These are for support of anabolism, and that already naturally occurring in the body as a result of exercise. They could also be utilized in a diet to decrease catabolism in someone suffering from a wasting disease, or severe immune stress. But, again, support. So, anyone promoting this product or a similar product as some sort of immediate way to gain muscle mass or strength is lying to you. Raw Barrel, so far as the ad copy and published material they have put out, does not promote this product in such a way. These tablets are of an appropriate dosage to be utilized easily and readily in the support of anabolic activity in the body. BCAA's are well known for this, and especially Leucine. In fact, increased Leucine consumption in the presence of less bioavailable aminos, or poorer quality proteins, tends to increase their utilization by the body. So, taking these tabs during the day with low protein meals, or even with poor or cheat meals, is a good way to utilize them. I would not take tablets pre-workout, due to slower digestion rates probably causing them to miss the mark for pre-workout use. A powder form would be best for this use. But for "during the day" use, these are right on the mark. I would not recommend these to be taken along with any good quality proteins, especially whey protein powders or the like. They already have plenty of BCAA content, and this would be a poor time to take additional BCAA sources in, strictly for the BCAA content. Save these for more traditional meals or snack times. As far as the actual performance of these tablets, beyond the stated benefits above and in Raw Barrels descriptions and literature, I give these tablets a high recommendation. In using them, I got no gas or intestinal problems. No bad tastes, or burps. Nothing indicating any sort of problems with their absorption and utilization. I won't lie to you and say I "felt them" in some way, but I can say that I do believe they are playing the expected supporting nutritional role they are designed to do. For the money, purpose, and results of these tabs, you are far better off purchasing these than some BS "test booster" being sold for twice the price, or more, and with no results to speak of coming from it. This is old school nutrition here, and it one that has stood the test of time for decades, opposed to some of the "big thing this month" stuff that is forgotten by the next month.
