Well started out I really liked this machine, however after the fourth batch the timer mid way through a batch of 36 hours switched to 41!!?? Not a deal breaker because You can just note the time, or set your cell phone timer, but then i noticed that my yogurt temperature, at finish was 128 F, at the bottom, so more than likely, my L-Reuturi cultures have died, however something lived as the yogurt is creamy and tart like the organic non sweetened I used to buy.I am going to do some experimenting with just water in the stainless bowl and see what I come up with, I know it wasa cheap unit to use as a starter set but geese it should last a little longer than two weeks..

Do not buy if you are trying to make yogurt that needs 100 degree temperature. It goes up to 40 degrees. Weird. Mine did not come with the strainer that it described as well. Spend a little more and purchase a higher quality one with temp control.
