This Bose speaker is amazing, I have different speakers made by Bose all of them are great and I have never been disappointed by any of them, the only reason I have bought this one is for the size and robust design for travel. Easy set up it connected to all my devices straight away, the Bose app is brilliant it makes life so much easier, I knew from experience it would be good but the sound quality matches my larger and more expensive speakers, it really fills the room with Bose quality sound, very impressed. Great battery life, it will last the twelve hours they state and it does charge very fast. Easy to use, nice controls and a really nice design, there are plenty of different cases available for it from hard to carrying, I will be getting one of these for added protection but it is a robust speaker with dust and water prevention features so not a requirement. As for the price, I must admit I did get this discounted so it's easy for me to say how great the value is, but truthfully I would like to buy another one in the future so I can connect them together for an even better sound experience and if I have to pay the full price I will do so as I truly believe they are worth the money. Once again a fantastic speaker worth buying if you want great sound on the go or as your set up in the house. I hope your experience will be as positive as mine has been because I am chuffed with my purchase. Very happy.

For a compact portable speaker, this sounds impressively full. The volume is more than enough for a kitchen, bedroom, or small get-together, and it stays clear as you turn it up rather than getting harsh and tinny. Vocals are easy to hear and the bass has real weight for something this size, which makes music feel more satisfying than a lot of smaller speakers that sound thin. Pairing has been straightforward with my Samsung S25 Ultra, and connection has been stable during use. It’s also the sort of speaker you can move around without thinking about it. It feels solid and travel-friendly, and the size is ideal for throwing into a bag. Battery life has also been strong in normal use. I’ve been able to use it for [several hours / a couple of days of casual listening] without feeling like I’m constantly charging it. Placement makes a difference, as it sounds bigger when it’s on a solid surface, and if you stick it in a soft spot like bedding it can dull the sound slightly. That’s normal for speakers like this. Overall it feels premium, performs like it, and is a great choice if you want a portable speaker that doesn’t sound like a compromise.

Excellent build quality, slightly bigger and heavier than I was expecting but still a nice compact size. For those who have a Bose Soundlink mini I was initially disappointed as thought my old soundlink was better, however after tweaking the EQ I think it actually sounds better. I dropped the bass to -6, mid range to -7 and boost treble to +2 as it has A LOT of bass! Think it sounds better laid down than upright but will depend on the room I guess. Overall, usual incredible Bose style and quality, tweak the 3-band eq and for £99 you get a lot for your money. Great battery life too.

Good product although not as impressive as the JBL Charge 6’s that can be bought discounted around the £100 mark too. The Bose speaker is well balanced and whist lacking the sound output and definition of the JBL’s, is much more travel friendly, being half the width and slightly shorter than them. It’ll fit nicely in my cabin bag. The new Bose app and equaliser options on it are much better than the old Bose Connect app. I have two older Bose Revolve Bluetooth's that still sound fantastic but the old app was hit and miss and always troublesome to pair together for Stereo sound. I won’t buy two of these for Stereo like I have with my my old Bose Revolve and JBL Chargers 6’s, both of which are really good, singly or paired in stereo. (FYI- New JBL app slightly trumps it here over the new Bose too) Essentially I bought the Bose primarily for its travel compatibility. So if you are looking for a good sounding travel friendly speaker companion, there certainly is a place in the market for it, if still slightly expensive for what it is at the price I paid (£98).

Nice natural sound. Nothing harsh or dynamic. A little bass heavy out of the box but you have a 3 band equaliser to suit your personal taste. Holds volume well but can distort at higher levels. Love the Spotify button where it will resume where you left off without touching your phone, even if the app is closed. It's programmable so it can also be used for linking 2 speakers or accessing your voice assistant. If you want something to fill a room or to use outside I'd go for the bigger options but for something to take in the shower, beach, pool for more personal listening it's absolutely perfect and well priced.

Having recently bought a new MacBook Air, I was keen to find a portable Bluetooth speaker that would improve the MacBook's tinny sound. After having watched a few comparison videos on YouTube, I plumped for the Flex 2 SoundLink. It felt strange buying a speaker without hearing or seeing it, but I've had Bose products before and always liked their sound. Having used it for three weeks now I have to say I'm really impressed. It's so easy to use, immediately pairing to both my laptop and iPhone and for such a small speaker the sound is superb. Yes, it's not stereo, but the quality of the sound it produces is superb, neither tinny or boomy, just rich and surprisingly loud. I find it works best sat on a phone stand (I use the excellent Lamicall) and in conjunction with a portable Anker charger. Once charged, the battery lasts for hours (at least 10) and quickly recharges. Being portable and Bluetooth, you can take it anywhere you want, be it the bathroom or outside. The speaker can also be controlled via the Bose app which also allows you to alter the EQ levels (Although fairly basic, I imagine Bose will update the software at some point) All n all, I think this is a great little speaker - it has transformed listening to music on both my laptop and phone. Its understated looks and finish exude quality and the sound performance speaks for itself.

Very very nice portable speaker. Everything works as it should, i.e. bluetooth connection etc. The sound quality is exceptional, very well balanced sound. This speaker can be tuned to your preferences by downloading the Bose app and from there you can see battery level, graphic equaliser settings etc...very handy! I find the speaker to be a little heavy in the bass, so the app allows me to just take the bass down a couple of notches. Battery will last a day easily and charging is quick. I have mine connected to a small solar panel and so I never need to plug it into the mains. Should you wish to have multiple speakers they all connect together and synchronise.

En tant qu'audiophile exigeant je pense que cette petite enceinte en donne beaucoup pour son argent. Non, il n'est pas question ici de haute fidélité mais le son est agréable et ne fatigue pas de trop dans la durée d'utilisation. Les graves sont bien présents, descendent subjectivement assez bas, bon haut-graves/bas-médiums, ce qui donne un son plein avec des voix bien incarnées. Les aigus ne filent pas très haut, même en les boostant grâce à l'égaliseur de l'application. On peut y régler les graves, les médiums et les aigus seulement, c'est un peu chiche comme réglages. J'ai trouvé les médiums un peu en retrait dans la configuration d'usine, une plus grande linéarité serait souhaitable ainsi que aigus avec plus de piqué. Cela dit, pour sa taille et son prix (129€), il fait un excellent compagnon pour mon smartphone, je recommande totalement.
