## Description

Globe impellers are made of Brandonite a high-strength, elastomeric material with self-lubricating compounds for run-dry protection and improved resistance to sand and dirt to help keep you going in the most difficult conditions.

It is undersized and does not pump water. Commonly reported issue on other sailboat forums. Seller would not help other than to tell me to contact the manufacturer. Sorry, but it is your problem if you sell a part that does not work.

Sounded like a great solution for my Universal M12 diesel with Oberdorfer pump, until it unexpectedly stopped pumping water - in rough seas as I started the diesel to head into my marina. Impeller appeared fine but apparently would not maintain prime. A moment of panic - I won’t order this product again.
