This noticeably helped my snails shells, which is why I bought it. My snails and shrimp loved them, and instantly devoured every bit each time I dropped them in the tanks.

My shrimp love this!! I haven't seen our snail try it yet, but there's about 20 shrimp in our tank, I just break a piece up and drop it in, they'll run to it. You get a lot in a single jar, lasts a long time.

I had read before that most shrimp and snails don’t get enough calcium in their diets, so I was happy to find this food for them. I’m raising baby mystery snails, so adequate calcium intake is especially important for them to develop strong, healthy shells. It turns out that this food apparently is also the best thing they’ve ever eaten! Everybody likes it. The baby snails are always on it within thirty seconds of me dropping it in their little tank, which is pretty impressive for tiny slow moving creatures. As you can see in the video, the shrimp are immediately on it and there’s usually at least one tug-of-war game going on with the amano shrimp. Even Diva the hillstream loach seems to like them, waiting semi-patiently on the rock for her turn. I like that this food comes with different size pieces so it’s easier to feed exactly the right amount for each species. At first I wasn’t sure about buying this food since the price seemed a little high for a small jar, but I’m glad I did. I’ve now had that small jar for several weeks and it’s still more than 3/4 full. I think it’s going to last me a long time yet. I’ll likely be ordering the other flavor/formulation of this stuff soon as well.
