Cactus Juice, 2.5oz, 20 SPF Sunscreen

I have been a user of this since I first discovered it in the early 2000's. I live in south Florida and travel often to the jungles of Central America for wildlife photography. I am often in areas where there are a lot of mosquitoes and other annoying bugs. Cactus Juice has never let me down and has proven to be extremely effective as both sunscreen and bug repellent. The facts that it is all natural, and smells nice are added bonuses. The only downside is that you will have to apply it more often than you would the more common; commercial products, but I find that an acceptable offset given its effectiveness.

Works pretty well as a bug repellent, no harsh smells but as a sunscreen if you are very fair skinned as I am make sure and use something additional, you will burn since its only 20 spf.

I heard this stuff works, i was not impressed

Purchased this product to take to Utila, Honduras, know for "no see ums." This cactus juice did very little to prevent the bugs from attacking me.The best prevention was covering up my skin with layers of clothing. This product is definitely overrated. I purchased the spray, gel, and cream. The gel was absolutely worthless, if anyting the cream was the best but lasted about 15 minutes before I had the no see ums attacking. OFF Cream is better than this product.

I read some reviews on how great this worked in hot humid weather especially in Jamaica. It was only ok. For me it didn't work that great but it isn't expected to work on every single person as it depends on your body chemistry. It is definitely worth a try.

Love this stuff. It has a strong orange smell and it absorbs into your skin. Great for gnats, Good for mosquitos, really have to slather it on for green flies.

Discovered this product while vacationing in Roatan, known for thier sand fleas that bite and leave big welts. This products not only keeps the sand fleas away, but also mosquitoes. It has an SPF 15 in it, so you get some sun protection as well. It is a lotion that feels great going on and moisturiezes as well. I will not travel to a sunny area without it.

If you are a New Jersey beach lover you have to try this product. Many afternoons flies would descend upon us, making us leave early. I tried this product,along with the spray and it worked! Those horrible biting flies avoided me. It was so effective that I shared it with people around me to see if I was just an exception. But it worked on all of us. Thank you for this miracle of a product and smells nice too!
