You need the Low Key!
Explore the low notes!!! I have enjoyed discovering the low key harps. As a beginner I have tested a range of harps. Lee Oscar is an outstanding ever situation instrument. This harp is very responsive for this price point and has very durable components. The low F if my favorite

Nice replacement for regular F harp
I don't play in F much, but this Christmas we had a song that just needed to be in F for the singers (including me). So I capo'd my Martin--coz who plays a guitar in F, really?--and strapped in my old hohner F. I probably have never performed with it. Wow is it shrill. Turns out Lee Oskar--a brand I often buy, tho Hohner special 20's are my current fave--makes an F an octave lower. Much better. They make a low E, too, which I may get if I ever play another song in straight-harp E. Mostly anything I'm doing in E is cross, with an A harp. This Lee Oskar worked great as all the Lee Oskars I've had in the past does. As a bonus, the plastic case is great for all sorts of small items. Plus, the little stickers can be peeled off and applied to the back of the harp for better visibility inside the multi-harp case I use. Incidentally, if you're still reading--I love my Farmer Foot Drums harp rack, check them out. Beats the Hohner, Dunlop, and Lee Oskar ones by a mile.

Can't beat Lee Oskar harmonicas for great build quality
Can't beat Lee Oskar harmonicas for great build quality, great tone, easy to blow & bend and relatively inexpensive compared to other quality brands which also produce low-tuned harmonicas. To my ears, one or two reeds need a slight adjustment. Out of the box, I've found that most harmonicas do need some tweaking for my personal preferences. Its not hard to do with the right tools and a decent tuner. The Low-F is a "secret weapon" and essential in the arsenal of seasoned players. Shhh, pass it on..

Major Key Low F" -- great instrument. I'm a life long musician
The "Lee Oskar Harmonica, Major Key Low F" -- great instrument. I'm a life long musician. I just started to overdub harp on my singer songwriter tracks about a year ago and began searching for what I liked. I love Special 20's and have the Low C, D too. This Major Diatonic, -- has great tone, feel and playability. The price is significantly better than the Special 20 Low's. The minor issues I find with all are the small finish things, --more that you can see, not feel or effecting play. I've played a couple of very expensive units and saw the same issues. They only make the metal just so thick and when they form it, they don't polish it, then chrome it, and fine hand fit the pieces as if will be their own, not some strangers. The fact that this played so well out of the box, --no play-in like the Special 20's was nice and confidence building in the product. I never owned or played one. I really needed, wanted a unit to play in Low C, Cross harp. So, I'm very glad this was what I hoped it would be. It's so hard to find decent harps for some reason. I don't get it. It's not an instrument costing 3-4x's this... not flawless or build like a tank, but it's a "pro level" unit as it is. Even the ones costing 4x's are not what they should be either!

Good tone.
Happy with this instrument. A low F Harmonica sound so much better than the "normal" high F harmonica.

Great harp for Key of G tuned down a whole step
As I have gotten older my voice has gotten deeper so I have started tuning my guitar down a whole step. I thought a harmonica in the Key of F would be the ticket for using with songs played in the key of G but something didn't sound just right. I did some research and found out that you actually need one in the key of Low F for the sound to be right. I have a Bb Lee Oscar that I have used for years and decided to give this one a try. It does not disappoint. The key is perfect for the songs in G tuned down a half step. Sounds great and the construction is good. Very satisfied

Very good quality
Always wanted a F cord harmonica to my collection but I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy the sound. Great surprise to find the sound from this harmonica is excellent. I don’t hesitate recommending adding this harmonica to your collection.

extend your range
The low F is a good choice for extending your range low enough to almost keep up with a wide range chromatic, except you need 2-3 harps to do that. This harp is tightly sealed, as a good plastic comb can do, but you give up that woody tone. Personal choice on tone, but you can really distinguish between your notes and pull off cleaner bends with this as opposed to a wood comb diatonic like blues harp or marine band.
