## Description

Crompton 8.5W Emergency LED Bulb is a rechargeable backup lamp on a standard B22 pin base, made for Indian homes that face regular power cuts. It runs as a normal LED bulb on mains supply and switches to its in-built lithium-ion battery automatically when power fails, giving up to 4 hours of glitch-free light as long as the wall switch is left ON. In backup mode the lamp runs at up to 50% of normal brightness, which is what allows the battery to last the full rated duration. The lithium-ion battery offers a longer usable life than conventional battery types and recharges by itself once supply returns. A built-in Battery Management System protects the cell from overcharging, over-discharging and overheating, and the lamp additionally carries overcharge, deep discharge and short circuit protection, making it more robust and durable in real-world conditions. Light output is Cool Day Light at 6500K, suitable for bedrooms, kitchens, passages, staircases, study areas, shops, hostels and rented accommodation, and useful as a low-cost standby for basic lighting when an inverter is not available. Supplied as a pack of 1 and fits existing B22 holders with no wiring change. Wipe with a dry cloth only; the bulb is not intended for wet or outdoor locations.
