Rust-Oleum Color Shift Blue Cosmos Spray Paint

I am totally delighted with the color shift paint. I used it as recommended over the top of black and it looks purple from one angle aqua from another. Just for fun I tried it over a chicken that had other base colors. I love the way that turned out. It gave the entire piece a sparkly aqua sheen that changes in the sunlight. Taking a chance paid off. FYI I used it very lightly with multiple coats.

The sun hits and it's a beautiful bright shiny blue and sparkles greatly as the color moves to a deep blue then purple and dark bright and shining brilliant color and deep starlike sparkle

Used this to redo a free shelf for my kiddo. You must apply a black base primer to get the best results. Was able to get three coats and it is gorgeous. With the right prep you'll love the color!

Gorgeous, but use care. ALWAYS use black base coat. I tested without the black base and it was just a yucky shade of gray. So I used the base and the color was gorgeous but the surface was bubbled/pitted in some areas. Consulted AI and it seems that a normal spraying method just won't do. I didn't paint heavily - I'm very careful - but this paint requires multiple, very thin mistings. Wish I'd known this before! So I'm going to strip the paint, use the base and paint again. It's a beautiful color so is worth it to me.
