These are great tasting little fishees!
I am very new to the world of canned fish. Up until the past few months the only canned fish I ate was a once in a while can of tuna or some kipper snacks. I didn't care for the heavy fish smell from some of the supermarket brands of tinned fish although I like quite afew of the bargain brands. After studying many of the reviews of canned fish seems many enjoyed the Nuri line & was giving strong good reviews. After enjoying 4 cans of the Nuris these are one of the go to sardines that give me good memories of these fine little fishees & will keep me coming back for more. They are plump, tender, juicy and oh so tasty. The sensation is that of a fine dining experience in a can. The texture is excellent with skin and bones being another part of the total joy. It's like to me music's harmonics that really you don't hear but feel it. The skin & bones really enhance the taste. My favorite Is the spiced sardines in olive oil. Not hot spicy but richly spicy. A bold flavor profile that does not smother you but enhances the taste of these fine little fishees. At the price point of these fish I think in this instance you get what you pay for. A great product. Pick up a few tins to try. I think you'll be back for more. Thanks for the read. Greybeard

Best beginner sardine
I love the spiced Nuri. I find these flavorful and tasty. Not spicy at all, but spiced with spices. The deens look nice and neat and the entire contents are edible. They aren't mushy at all. Can use the oil along with it. If you find you haven't liked cheaper market sardines, try these. I started was cheap and I begrudgingly finished the can for the health benefits, but they were not good. The might spoil you though for canned sardines as these are top tier. I would buy again, but sparingly. The quality is definitely there and worth it imo, but make my pockets hurt.

Best sardines in the world!
Outstanding texture and flavor. The Nuri and Pinhais sardines are both produced by the Pinhais company in Matosinhos Portugal. The only difference I can tell is in the price. I order mine through Amazon since neither are sold locally. I tried a variety pack and loved them all. I have started eating a tin of sardines 4-5 days per week for lunch. Delicious and good for you!

Generally Delightful
Just meaty enough, and nicely flavored. Only lost a star because I had a negative reaction to one of the tins, which indicates possible cross-contamination somewhere (I have a minor whitefish allergy usually not triggered by oily little guys like sardines, anchovies, etc).
