This stuff was really easy to use and the repair, which would have cost $$$ at an RV shop, is undetectable. I used an electric pad sander (actually a "mouse") to smooth it out. But make sure you put enough on that second coat. I had leftover on my second packet but threw it out. After it dried and I went to sand it, I had a low spot and had to re-purchase another packet. One order would have been enough.

At 70-something, I had never had any luck with epoxy...until I used West System! Initially I bought similar kit with 6 smaller packets. When I used it up, I ordered this replacement. However, this turned out to have 2 larger packets of mix...very easy mistake to make. Since I think the ratio of resin and hardener is important and easy to get wrong, I like the smaller packets for the far more numerous small repair jobs I get. The other kit of West System 101 is called "Resin and Hardener Packets (6/PK)".
