Whisper-Quiet Powerhouse in a Tiny Package
’ve been really impressed with the MINISFORUM AI X1 Pro-370. The first thing I noticed? It’s super quiet. Even when I’m running a bunch of apps at once, it barely makes a sound. No loud fan noise, no annoying hum, it just quietly does its thing. Another big plus is how cool it runs. I’ve used small PCs before that got pretty warm under use & have had to purchase a separate cooling fan to keep it from getting too hot, but this one stays nice and cool, even after hours of use. That gives me a lot of confidence in using it for longer work sessions. Performance-wise, everything feels fast and smooth. Boot-up is quick, programs open instantly, and multitasking is effortless. Whether I’m working, streaming, browsing with tons of tabs open, or handling heavier tasks, it doesn’t slow down or struggle. I also love how compact it is. It takes up almost no space on my desk, but it definitely doesn’t feel “small” in performance. It’s solid, well-built, and just feels premium overall. If you want a powerful mini PC that stays whisper-quiet and runs cool, this is a fantastic choice. It’s been a great upgrade for me.

A real Super Mini PC
This is a compact high power mini PC. I love the fact that it has 3 m.2 NVMe slots. That means you could put in 3x8TB=24TB of very fast SSD (although they mention that you can have up to 4TB each, but mine works with 8TB), up to 96GB DDR5 run up to 4 monitors at 4K 60Hz ( I run 3) and has some support for 8K as well. Even has a finger print sensor for fast sign-in. They don't mention here but mine came with Win11 Pro installed. The power supply is built in. The cooling is sufficient, mine barely feels warm to the touch. The processor (AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 w/ Radeon 890M graphics) is a new AI based design that has 12 cores and 12 threads and the core speed defaults to 2GHz but can rev up to 5.1GHz when needed. They suipply two 2.5GHz ethernet ports that work as advertized. Also, it is nice to have BT5.4 and low-latency Wifi-7. My only issue was my own fault. I transferred contents from another PC which had Windows 10 and I'm assuming that this process caused a driver issue with the AMD graphics that resulted in a lot of strange glitches and power cycling at night but their team helped me eliminate the issues and now it works great. Ultimately, I had to do a clean uninstall in safe mode and reinstall the same graphics driver set using AMD tools. I am not a gamer but believe this mini would outperform the rest. Also, the machine is very quiet, I cannot hear the fan motor. If you get one of these units, there are 4 corner long screws and a slightly hidden short screw under a rubber stickon and the bottom doesn't come off very easily the first time, use a plastic prying tool and work your way from the back forward. I am happy with this purchase and believe the price to be decent. And, if you don't have a lot of space, you can even mount this on the back of your monitor if it has a vesa mount like most monitors.

Need some computer experience to configure and manage this PC
I have owned this for almost a year. It is powerful and quiet in operation. It is small enough to mount behind my monitor and has ample input ports. Bluetooth works fine to a wireless mouse and keyboard. However, will need a wired keyboard and wired mouse for troubleshooting because Bluetooth only works after the boot process into windows is complete. The instruction manual is not well written, so some computer knowledge is needed. I just completed a BIOS update, and that was not straightforward due to poor instructions, and then I had to find the secure boot key for the boot drive before everything was finally working. I would buy this again and recommend this product. Fortunately, I purchased mine with a 2GB SSD and 96GB of RAM, before the big spike up in memory prices.

Powerful, Quiet, and Surprisingly Flexible With a Few Port Quirks
Short Version I've found this to be a powerful, quiet, and flexible mini PC with great performance for software development and trading workloads. The port layout could be better, but the strengths far outweigh the quirks. Long Version I’ve been using the MinisForum X1 Pro 470 for software development and running multiple trading systems, and it has handled everything I’ve thrown at it. The CPU and GPU performance are excellent for a compact machine. Even under heavy load, the system stays impressively quiet, which is a big plus when it’s running all day. I also have 2 iNUC PCs, which are great, but being smaller cases means they either CPU throttle sooner, or the fans spin up too much to stay quiet on my desk when under heavy loads. The fingerprint reader on the X1 Pro 470, for Windows Sign-In is a nice touch and works reliably. I also had great success driving three large Samsung monitors: two 34" 4k S65TC models daisy-chained from the rear USB4 port, and my larger 43" 2K J8943 connected through HDMI. All three ran smoothly with no signal issues. I appreciate that MinisForum included a single 32GB RAM stick. Yes, it runs in single-channel mode, which reduces performance a bit, but with RAM prices being so high right now, I prefer having the option to add a second stick later when prices come down. My main complaint is the USB port layout. On the back, there’s only one USB-A port aside from the USB4 port, which I’m already using for monitors. The front has three ports, including a USB4 port with video support, but that’s not where most people want to plug in a long-term monitor or external drive. The other two front ports are USB-A 3.1. I think it would have been better to move the USB4 port to the rear and replace one of the front USB-A ports with a USB-C port for temporary devices like phones and thumb drives. One of my favorite features is the storage flexibility. The system has three M.2 slots, with only one populated, giving plenty of room for expansion without external drives.

From Mac to PC I’m glad I chose Minisforum Aix1 pro 370
Very fast and smooth computer, I loved but the wake feature after sleep mode was annoying cause I had to power off and turn on to wake it back up. I’d buy again if things resolved . Returning product update This is my 2nd mini pc; my first was a 32 GB 1 TB, and the sleep function malfunctioned Mini-Forum suggests taking advantage of the 30-day Amazon warranty. So, I did and ended up purchasing the 96gb with 2 TB. Now the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi adaptor have failed, and the Ethernet port is dropping the internet connection. After checking the Bluetooth driver, I found out this mini pc has an MT7925, which means that it's Wi-Fi 6e and not Wi-Fi 7. Now i have reached out to minisforum and at first they was very responsive and now they have ghosted me. ** update*. Minisforum ended up resolving the issue they have made up for there disappearing and resolved every issue that I had. I like them and would recommen!

Powerful mini pc
This is a great machine for general purpose use. It can game better than most laptops due to the Radeon 780m integrated graphics, and it comes with an adapter that lets you add an eGPU, which will let you run a desktop video card. I attached an RX 6800, and based on some benchmarking, got about 90-95% of the GPU's performance compared to having it actually in a desktop machine.

Works but included power supply is not working, have to use power delivery over USB C
2 power supplies and still not turning on. I had to use the USB c power supply to power it on. Power supply barrel input must be not working.

Very happy with it
Very happy with this mini PC. It is made to expand. I already added 32GB of ran, 2 SSD’s, oculink with a 32GB GPU. I like the fingerprint more than I thought I would. No regrets at all! I would buy this one again. Nice and compact. I actually have it suspended from the bottom of my desk, it is hardly noticeable:)
