I go through a ton of coffee throughout the week keeping myself and clients caffeinated, so finding a bulk option that doesn't taste stale or watered down is key.​If you've had Pike Place at the actual coffee shop, you know exactly what to expect here. It’s a true medium roast—not overly bitter or burnt like some darker roasts, but still strong enough to actually taste like coffee, even if you throw in a splash of creamer or sugar. It has a really nice, smooth finish with subtle hints of cocoa that just make it super easy to drink first thing in the morning or as a midday pick-me-up.​What I love most about these is the consistency. Every single pod punctures perfectly in my Keurig, and the flavor doesn't fluctuate from cup to cup. My husband and I started drinking this Starbucks roast in our old drip maker and often wasted coffee, as we like it FRESH brewed and love coffee and drink it through the day, as we both work from home. So we got a single brew maker & We run through the k-pods, but our coffee tastes even better (my husband used to call my coffee mud) but we run through it pretty quickly, and let’s face it they are a little more expensive- so ordering a larger quantity with a subscription discount - we get free delivery (which before I paid my market) and save time and don’t wake up freaked out because we ran out of coffee: ) I highly recommend this idea to coffee heads like us. And if you have a favorite brew. Often our market ran out of pikes roast - so just another added perk. This comes when we have it scheduled every couple of weeks. No thought involved. And pikes medium/ dark full bodied roast is deliciously smooth (hubby) with just enough dark lover (me) bite. And as young seniors, it doesn’t bother our stomach like some roasts do. I think I will go make one now!
