I’m using this light on my road bike as a daytime strobe for better visibility. It works great for this purpose. Size and mounting: super small. I like that is down and out of the way on the front of the bars. The small size makes it very easy to mount on the bars. The rubber strap is secure and the lights doesn’t vibrate, make noise, or move during a ride. Battery life: My rides average 2-3 hours and it lasts the whole ride. Output: at 150 lumens I wouldn’t use this for mtb or on unlit streets. As a daytime light it’s great. Settings: the different settings are good. I like having variety. Charging: it doesn’t take long to charge and I love that it’s usb charging. I do not like that the main lamp blinks as a charge indicator. It’s annoying and distracting if it’s connected to a computer or at your desk. Overall I love this light even with the annoying blinking charge indicator. For the price and it’s size it was better than any other usb charging option.

I have been using this now for about 6 months and 600 miles on my bike. It has worked very well. Don't let the small size fool you as it flashes bright and the battery lasts a long time before needing recharging. Mounting is easy and secure. This light is really for safety as in my opinion it is not bright enough for night riding. As a result, I only use it in flashing mode. But I knew that when I bought it. Overall I am very pleased. On my bike control cables were in the way and prevented good forward visibility but that was remedied by 3D printing an auxiliary mount which raised it a little.

This light is super bright. It is easy to use. Rechargeable using micro-USB. Small, so no added bulk to handlebars. The quirk is that the blinking pattern is different in day vs. night. The light has some kind of sensor in it. During the day it is a single flash every second or so (which is what I wanted). When I first got it and tested it indoors, it flashed multiple times with a short break between multiple-flash sequences. I was ready to return it, then I used it on a ride and noticed the difference. It even thinks it is nighttime if I turn it on in my garage while getting the bike out.

For the size and weight these are great. Will last multiple hours on low and flashing. Easy to mount and secure. More of a day ttime rubbing light but on high its enough if you are on the road.

Works great, Charge it up first and mount to handlebar, turn on light and go!!

Update: Everything below the line is now irrelevant. This light stopped working the night after I sent my earlier review. I have used the light only a handful of times. This biggest issue with this light other than the build being very "cheap" is the lack of power level indication. Its impossible to tell if its fully charged and the main light source just flashes the entire time its charging. anyway. im in need a new light so I do not recommend this one. ------- First and foremost, when it comes to helping you see what in front of you at night, this light does the job. I do like that it is small and very unassuming looking on my bike. I, personally, do like having a giant like on my bike so I was looking for something small and this was smallest light i could find meant for illumination. It is easy to mount on the bike, couldnt be more simple, slightly manipulation of the brake cables may be needed if there isnt a ton of real estate on your handlebars. The only button on it turns it on and off as well as provides some different options for brightness and flashing effects. Its not fancy but it works although I wouldn't put it in a pro but not bad enough to be a con. Charging and battery life: This is where the 2 stars get knocked down. Takes the old usb which is fine, my biggest issue with this is that when the battery is charging, the light (the one used for illumination) flashes the entire time its charging as, i assume, a way of telling you it is charging. It is incredibly annoying if you tend to charge stuff like this overnight. Not only that, but I don't think the blinking ends to tell you its fully charged, Ive left it on the charger for 2 days and it still blinks. Its pretty annoying as you kind of have to be strategic as to either when you charge or where you charge the light. Overall: It works. for a smalll light its actually pretty effective at illumination the dark road in front of you. Would I buy again? Maybe. But only after researching other lights to see if theres anything else out there that is the same minimalist size.

Good light, nice flashing pattern for daytime use, simple controls. But...after less than three years of use, the battery is dead so I'm having to throw it away. Would be nice if it either lasted longer or had a replaceable battery.

I use this for my road bike day riding to be seen. Very bright and fits well on the road handlebars due to its compact design. For such a small light, it is very bright (I bought the 150 lumen model). Not sure about battery life as the longest ride I've done with it so far was 1-1/2 hours. This would also work in a pinch to illuminate street or trail at night if you get caught out later than expected but I'd want something more powerful for dedicated night riding, particularly MTB. Very solid feel construction. I have tried many lights over the years and Cygolight is one of the best brands out there in my opinion and worth the little extra cost. I checked the Cygolight website to see what they are showing as the most current models.

This makes me very visible on the road to cars and pedestrians while riding (even when it is very bright out). I notice that people yield to my bike more often now. Wouldn’t ride without it ever again. Battery charge lasts a week or so which is great. No need to charge before every ride. More of a to-be-seen than a to-see-the-road kind of a light (when used at night). Brilliant light!
