Doubtful at first but proved better then expected.
I’ve been looking for a while for something to keep my long hair neat and tangle free while out for a ride on the motorbikes. Most hair wraps are just that, and take time to tie or snap up all the while trying to keep stray hair out of the way. But with THIS neat little bundle came along,.. it didn’t look promising at first - it was rolled up neatly but it seemed a bit too tight and I put it down, ..until my next ride which came up unexpectedly, in a rush I grabbed it and surprised at how easily it was to put on. It felt a bit loose at the top so secured it with a couple of hair bands. I thought it would hang rather stiff, but it was rather soft and it swayed across my back gently. I reached back to pull it around over my shoulder to see if it was falling off, but it was perfectly secure. I am VERY HAPPY with this purchase, and see myself buying another, perhaps the red one next time, OR! find a PURPLE one! (Added later Note: The first time I tried it was immediately upon opening the package, it was flimsy and it was a complete failure, however, when I was getting ready for a last min ride I grabbed it, situated it at the end of my hair as it showed, grabbed it with an iron grip and started forcing it to roll up, and then was surprised at how quickly it went on. To begin.. I forced the last 2-3 inches of my hair into the rolled-up, bun-shapped wrap with the ‘tail’ end hanging down I pushed the hair into the doughnut, when it came through the bottom I grapped it and gave it a vice-grip as I begin to unroll it).

Sorry not for me
Terrible to try to get attached to your rubber band. I tightly braid my 16” hair every day for work and I spent so much time trying to tuck the end if the wrapter under my existing ruber band that I would eventually have to rebraid my hair because it would no longer be as tight as it was when I started. I thought this was a GREAT idea but just did not work for me. I don’t have time to keep re braiding my hair. I wanted it do that I could ride my motorcycle with less damage to my hair but I couldn’t even make it to work with it.

Not the easiest hair accessory.
Good idea, but not easy getting it on.

I Highly Recommend this Product for Riding Motorcycles
I have been looking for a product for a long time that would contain my hair when I ride my motorcycle and I finally found it! I have tried the leather hair wraps and this product far exceeds them by far. Putting the wrap on was not that difficult. I have layered hair so getting every piece in the wrap took me a little time, but it wasn't too bad. I also have do not have super thick hair... it isn't thin either though. This product would probably be harder to get started on the bottom if you have super thick hair because it is a tight squeeze to push all of your hair through. Once the wrap was in place I drove my bike 450 miles and it never moved and never wanted to slide down. It is so lightweight that I literally forgot I was wearing it. Once I got to my destination and removed the wrap my hair wasn't tangled and matted like it usually is when I am done riding. I highly recommend this product!

Didn't work for me.
Maybe I'm just an amateur, but this thing is way too tedious to put on. I have very thick hair with a ton of volume. The instructions say wind your ponytail up tight or braid it, there's a reason for that. Pushing against your hair while unrolling the thing gets it all messed up. First try: didn't hold my hair twisted enough. Second try: couldn't keep the bottom end in one place. Third try (using another hair band to hold the bottom in place): and I finally reach the top. Should have had another hair tie ready. The instructions just say up and over your top hair ties... lol... yeah ok. The thing sprang right back down to the bottom. This ponytail sleeve immediately went soaring through the air into the trash bin. Great idea. Maybe I don't have the right hair to make it easy. Maybe I underestimated the total length of this thing (my hair is only 24 inches), and placement is key. I don't know, the thing rests at about 18 inches and can stretch beyond 24. All I know is, for me, it definitely isn't worth that much effort to put it on. I'll just continue to do what I've done for all these years... just tuck my pony into my jacket.

Great Hair Protection
The Wrapter works very well on my hair. My hair is very thick and very long - almost to my waist like in the model - but of course I have more grays (I think I have a few years on that model)! ;D I always start with a ponytail with binder at the base (closest to scalp) - then I braid my hair (doesn't matter how tight or loose) and bind it again at the end - finally, I start with the Wrapter on the bottom and then unroll it up until it's over the base (closest to scalp). Mine never slips and it does protect my hair from breakage. I wear mine to bed and whenever I'm working around the house or in the garden. Some of the reviews I read were written by bikers who report theirs flying off once the wind picks up. I can't imagine mine flying off. If I had problems with that, I would put the binders in my hair the way I always do, put on the Wrapter on and then add a pin through the Wrapter material and base binder (near base of neck) to hold it to my hair. I'm positive it wouldn't come off of my hair. Also, as far as thickness ... I'm puzzled that people with thick hair can't get it over their hair. It would help to see what they're doing in pictures. I have no problem rolling it on by myself in seconds... The reason I gave this a 4 star review is because it would be nice to purchase more colors/designs. Since I have dark hair, I'd look for dark colors and patterns. Not a fan of skulls, gore or camouflage. It would be great to coordinate with pajamas and/or casual clothes to wear around the house and in the garden. Thanks for this product!

Best hair appliance I’ve ever bought.
I love this pony tail wrap. My hair is waist length. Holds everything neat and tidy. I do A high pony tail then braid. I apply the wrap on it (it’s a learning curve but worth it). Holds everything neatly and as a bonus you can wrap it in a bun, tuck the tail with no pins needed. I’ve slept with my hair wrapped in a bun and it stays put. Will definitely buy more. Thank you for a great product.

Works as it should.
I have long hair and it tangles really bad when riding on the motorcycle. I purchased a leather “glove” for use many years ago. It was a pain to put on, made my ponytail feel like a club, and never covered the entire length. I had started just twisting my ponytail and stuffing it up into my head cover. I had been trying to devise something that would cover my entire ponytail when I found this. I saw another review that says to watch the YouTube video showing how to use it. I did that. I find that my Wrapter rolls back down if I don’t keep my hand on it as I’m rolling it up. I also have to had a hair tie to the outside at the top to keep it from rolling back down after getting it all the way up. The package says you might have to. I have tried it on my hair in a ponytail and in a braid. Both work. Over-the-braid is a lot bumpier looking as to be expected. It’s also compact for packing to take with you. Overall I give it a thumbs up.

Not recommended
The wrap is very large and doesn't have any way to tie to the hair. Way overpriced! I sent it back
