Really good value. It is a great choice for new skaters. If you don't want to invest in a custom build this is a well made, high quality, reputable brand name option that is more affordable. You really can't beat this board for the price if you're not a pro/seasoned skateboarder.

Birthday present for 12 yo boy. He loves it. Design is cool and the wheels/turning work way better than the beginner one he was using. It’s holding up pretty well and was affordable!

This is my first skateboard and, after a couple of weeks, I can't be happier. Looks great, feels great, the grip is superb, it's light, and you can take it with you everywhere (this is a huge plus compared to longboards, way easier to start on, but bulky and heavy). Since the brand and components are high quality, the only thing I recommend to change right away are the wheels IF your main use is cruising around every surface and you don't want to fall every time you roll over a crack. The board comes with 99a wheels (extremely hard), so on the sidewalk or roads, these wheels are loud and transmit every possible vibration. Not a complaint, just a recommendation if you are a casual skateboarder and don't care too much about tricks. Super happy with my purchase and enjoying it every day.

This is the best Complete skateboard for 12 and under on Amazon. I have purchased 2 can't complain about anything on this skateboard. Wheels, bearings, trucks, deck and grip tape are all awesome!

A great value board to get for a young kid that needs to learn. Can’t beat the value. Mini logo trucks, mini logo bearings, decent deck, wheels soft enough for good speed in rough spots.I don’t know how they can sell all of this for this price. I would recommend for children under 13 years old.

I use to skateboard when I was a teenager and decided to live the dream again. I'm 37 now. Getting back on is like riding a bike. The complete product is decent. It's an out sourced product made in China. And they seem to boost about this for some reason. Everything looks and feels to be well made. I would recommend for any first time skaters.Too the negative reviews, You will have to make adjustments! As with any skateboard, people! That's like buying a bike and expecting it to fit any rider. You have to adjust the seat and handlebars. If you've never ridden a skateboard you should probably not write a review on one.Here's a breakdown of each component:The Trucks.Good trucks. The only thing I'm going to replace is the truck bushings. $10 bucks for replacements. These trucks are way to soft for ME. They might be ok for others. It's a personal preference and I like my bushings to be firm. Meaning when you lean from side to side, it's how easy or hard the board turns. I am 200 lbs so hard bushings work better for me. Bones makes great replacement bushings for soft, medium, and firm. $10 on Amazon. Right now I have my trucks cranked down so much that the board will not return to center. So instead of going straight, it will slightly go left or right if your not on it. So if you're trying to tighten your trucks up to take some slop out you're better off just getting stiffer bushings instead of crunching theses softies beyond their abilities.The wheels/bearings.Great. They have a nice spin and only time will tell about the wheels but they seem to be pretty good for street skating. Not too hard or soft.The deck.Looks and feels nice. The grip tape is excellent and the graphics are clean. Not why I bought this board though. This area is where it lost a star from me. The deck is made in China. But that's why it's cheaper than most. Maple wood in North America it's going to cost a bit more and last longer.Overall this is great for the beginner or someone who dabbles. I got mine for $57 on the "other offers from.." basically the ones that got returned for some reason. And it looked brand new with all the tags.No one will be disappointed with this deck. Just remember you may have to replace the bushings if you don't like softies. Go ahead and order the medium or firm with your purchase.

It's a great board. I used to skate quite a bit when I was kid and Powell Peralta had always made good stuff back then. I was looking to get my son a decent affordable board for his birthday since he wanted one. I kept finding really cheap boards that got bad reviews and was actually looking to just go to a skate shop or online skate store and build him one for about $150. I was getting ready to order one on another site and saw this board. This was not cheap, but much less expensive than setting up a new skateboard from a skate shop. Plus it was a Powell board. I got it and it's a great board. Well made nice soft beginner wheel and it's size is perfect for the 6-10 year old child. It also came with a DVD made by Steve Caballero, an old pro skater, showing how to do some basic moves with his son and daughter. It's a great buy. Unfortunately, my son doesn't seem to be too interested in learning to skate right now. Either way, this is a great board for younger riders and the DVD was an added bonus.
