Blue Wave 8-ft Double Water Tube for Winter Pool Cover - 5 Pack

The tube's were delivered on time as promised. They do the job of holding the pool cover in place. Two of the tubes had small leak. The vendor was very helpful and promptly sent replacement tubes.

This product is an absolute zero stars. Of the eighth water bladders only one held water consistently when I try to fill it. One bladderthe same was totally ripped and I had to throw away immediately the other seven started leaking on at least one side of the water bladder and within a week I only have one that’s totally intact and not leaking on either side of the bladder. The major problem seems to be the the seam that runs the length between the two bladders that create one platter is not connected properly and appears that the glue or whatever they used to connect that same is why it open and leaking. The bottom line is this product is made poorly with little oversight obviously and they should close their doors. I have never purchased anything this pitiful in my life. My rating is absolutely zero stars and please I’m not hard to please, but this is a pitiful, pitiful piece of work

This batch of tubes came in great shape. I filled them up about 4 days ago and no leaks. We will see how long they last. Last year I think I had something like 12 to start off. Two or three of them leaked by the time spring rolled around. I went ahead and kept the rest for this season after my pool guy recommended it. I usually throw them away and order new ones each fall. After filling up the ones I had salvaged, I had one right off the bat that leaked. Then eventually, all but one leaked in at least one chamber; the majority leaked in both so I replace them with these. Thankfully between the one good one, these five I just received and the two where they still had one good chamber, I was able to get by. At least they all match and are doing the job at the moment. It doesn't matter what brand you get of water tubes. The majority won't make it to the next season. At least these were a great price.

There were two of the units that had problems. One had a series of pin sized holes that the water seeped out of . Another had a smallish opening that I taped shut and raised it up slightly to prevent the water from escaping. Tried reaching the Blue wave company. They wanted a picture of the defect. Do you know haw hard it is to take a picture of water seeping out of a hole that is hardly visible without a magnifying glass? Just the fact that I reported the leaking units should be enough for a replacement. I will gladly return the defective units, which are two of the ten I purchased. The person said I didn't have to return, just send pictures. I would like to return. Since they came in packs of 5 can I get a discount on another pack of 5?

I use these to hold down my pool cover during the winter months. I bought these as replacements and I noticed that the material is thinner walled than what I am replacing (same brand just 5-6 years older). I filled 2 tubes and laid them out. In less than a week 2 of them had already leaked out the water from one side of the tube. Very disappointing.

We buy pool bags often. This brand has been our favorite. They typically last more then a year and store easily. They don't crack upon being emptied and folded. Recommend.

Worked for about half the winter. Critters must have poked holes or something because they all drained out and after refilling them they had pinholes and all the water leaked out. Had to patch them up and the patches don’t hold that well.

This is the most flimsy, fail prone, short lived and low quality water tube I have ever purchased deployed. And it seems to be getting progressively worse (bought some of those last year as well). In last purchase, out of five tubes three literally leaked all over the place while I was in the process of filling them with water. Quality control basically is non existent. And the standards of quality are very much lacking, lapsing and exceedingly low. Save yourself some grief and headache, avoid it al all cost.

I began filling the tubes. Two of them had little holes in them, which went flat overnight. One had a split seam which would not take any water at all. Total rubbish!

How annoying to have a guy over that you have to pay to close the pool and than to find out that the materials you ordered to be crap . This product is SOOOO POORLY manufactured it’s scary , seams are crooked and half closed up , cut of right ate the seam so they BURST and start leaking as soon as it’s filled with water , now we were already cheesed of having filled one and it to be leaking let alone to find out that from the 8 bags 6 were no good at all . Also the stoppers were not working proper . We ended up having to fill up containers and use rocks to keep the tarp on . Very very unhappy and needless to say we’ve send it back . It does NOT deserve the one star but I could NOT send it of without rating

Great concept and easy to fill but a couple of tubes had leaks along the seam but thankfully i have spares
